Wedding at St. Cecelia Catholic Church and Hilton Clearwater Beach: Kristen and Max

Even after 10 years of photographing weddings, Kristen and Max’s wedding started off with a first for Jason!  Kristen got ready at her reception site, the Hilton Clearwater Beach.  She came down from Pennsylvania for her wedding and Jason was looking forward to meeting her for the first time.  When he got to the resort he went to the front desk and said he was there to photograph a wedding.  He asked where Kristen was getting ready and they directed him to one of their bridal getting ready rooms.  When he went to the room he introduced himself as Jason from Jason Angelini Photography and they welcomed him in as the bride was having her hair and makeup done.  Jason starting taking pictures and after a while he noticed that the people in the room were calling the bride by a name other than Kristen.  Sure enough he was with the wrong bride!  We still aren’t sure why that bride never said anything even after Jason introduced himself, but Jason went down the hall and found Kristen’s room instead.  Luckily Kristen was a really awesome, easy-going bride.  She laughed about everything and even told Jason to keep a few pictures of the other bride as a funny memory from her wedding day!  The entire wedding was relaxed and lots of fun and Jason was happy to be there with KRISTEN and Max! 🙂

The ceremony was held at St. Cecelia Catholic Church and Kristen carried a bouquet of bright flowers from Events in Bloom.  They took pictures at the church after the wedding before getting into a trolley to go to their reception site.  You can’t come from Pennsylvania for your Florida wedding and not have some bride and groom pictures on the beach so after spending a bit of time at their reception, the bride and groom went outside with Jason for a few more pictures. Eric of Grant Hemond was the DJ and the cake was from A Better Cheesecake.  Everyone at the wedding had a great time and the dance floor was still packed at the end of the night!  People were standing on chairs to sing and dance!  Thanks so much to the newlyweds for inviting Jason to share in your day!  It is definitely one he’ll remember!
