The Grand Plaza<\/a> is a terrific location for weddings.\u00a0 Stephanie and Michael were married there on Thursday.\u00a0 Dad met Stephanie that morning at London Hair and Spa<\/a> where she had her hair and makeup done before heading to the Don CeSar<\/a> to get dressed.\u00a0 Stephanie and her bridesmaids looked beautiful!\u00a0 The bridesmaids wore blue dresses and carried bouquets of white and ivory made by Marsha of Marsha Marie Floral<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The ceremony on the beach had chairs with white chair covers and blue chair ribbons.\u00a0 Floral arrangements on white pillars were on either side of a white lattice also decorated with flowers.\u00a0 Amanda Gerttula of the Pink Fiddle<\/a> played the violin for the ceremony music and Reverend Tom Greene (727-403-6308) was the officiant.\u00a0 Stephanie and Michael smiled all through their ceremony.\u00a0 It is wonderful to see two people soaking in the joy of their day.<\/p>\n

The bride and groom live in Canada and many of their guests came from Canada as well.\u00a0 Dad had fun meeting them and getting some tips on traveling to Canada for a family vacation we might be taking. In addition to the traditional toasts, guests came up to a podium during dinner and shared limericks about the couple.\u00a0 The cake was made by Le Cheesecake<\/a> and was white and covered in little flowers.<\/p>\n

Congratulations Stephanie and Michael, and have a great time at Disney World!\u00a0 Don’t forget to buy Minnie and Mickey bride and groom ears to wear!<\/p>\n
