Jason photographed Christina and Corey’s engagement session<\/a> earlier this year and was looking forward to their big day.\u00a0 I had fun emailing with Christina and seeing her projects in progress and the details she had chosen for her wedding day!\u00a0 The wedding was at East Lake Woodlands Country Club<\/a> and Christina’s grandfather was the officiant.\u00a0 As Christina walked down the aisle, her mother played the violin.\u00a0 How special to have such important family members be part of your ceremony!\u00a0 Purple was the wedding color and was used in the bouquets and pomander balls at the ceremony.\u00a0 Christina made all the floral arrangements herself!\u00a0 But Christina isn’t the only crafty one.\u00a0 Corey made the personalized hanger (C&C Designs<\/a>) for the wedding gown too.<\/p>\n

There were so many creative details at this wedding.\u00a0 The ceremony program started with, “Christina & Corey are getting married today!\u00a0 (if this is news to you, you may be in the wrong place)!”\u00a0 The back of the program had a crossword puzzle with the clues being trivia about the couple and their wedding.\u00a0 At the reception, guests were given a Wedding Advice Mad Libs to fill out and there was an I Spy game for guests to play with camera and cell phone pictures.\u00a0 It was a fun way to get guests to share their reception pictures, but I love that the bride and groom valued the importance of their ceremony by putting something in their program asking guests to be “in the moment” and put away their cell phones and cameras for an unplugged ceremony.\u00a0 One of my favorite details from the day was the personalized cake topper that the couple had made.\u00a0 The groom is playing Call of Duty on the XBox while the bride is working on her laptop with a baby sleeping at her feet.\u00a0 Perfect!\u00a0 At the end of the night, everyone danced and partied with glow sticks until the sparkler departure.\u00a0 Christina and Corey did such a great job of making the day their own!<\/p>\n

The Day of Coordinator for the wedding was All Day, Your Day Productions<\/a> and the DJ was DJMC Brownie<\/a>.\u00a0 Jason had a blast at the wedding and said the bride and groom and their family and friends were awesome.\u00a0 It is always a huge honor to take pictures for another photographer and we are grateful to Christina and Corey for inviting us to be part of their wedding day!\u00a0 Congratulations to the newlyweds!<\/p>\n
