It has been six years since Jason had the honor of being a part of Kirsten and Steven’s wedding day.\u00a0 They are terrific people and we love that have kept in touch and we’ve been able to be a part of the most special times of their lives.\u00a0 Jason photographed Kirsten’s maternity session<\/a> and then met their baby boy for his newborn session<\/a>:<\/p>\n

He was ready to show off his smiles when Jason saw him again for his 6 month session:<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It is just amazing how much changes in one year.\u00a0 Jason met up with Kirsten, Steven, and their son again for his one year session at Lido Beach.\u00a0 He was adorable!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

He posed with his Paddington Bear…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

…which was the same bear from the maternity session where his mom and dad were waiting on his arrival!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Just a year ago they were carefully snuggling a tiny newborn and now dad is throwing him into the air as he giggles and laughs!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Of course no first birthday celebration is complete without a cake smashing!\u00a0 This little boy definitely loved cake.\u00a0 He wasn’t timid about it at all!\u00a0 He got handfuls and fit as much into his mouth as he could.\u00a0 Jason thought that once the dirt and leaves got into the cake he would be done but even after a few bites filled with pine needles he kept going!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

After enjoying all of the cake that he could, he had some fun in the sand.\u00a0 I call this picture, “SuperBaby!”<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

After being covered in sand and cake it was time for some fun in the water.\u00a0 The pictures are too cute!\u00a0 (I asked his mom’s permission before sharing these.)<\/p>\n

And one of my most favorite pictures which I call, “FREEDOM!” (yelled out in a Braveheart voice):<\/p>\n
