Maybe it is because it was written in 1960 but parts of the book are very poetic in an adult world. I had to share a few quotes:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;My hat is old. My teeth are gold.<br \/>\nI have a bird I like to hold.<br \/>\nMy shoe is off. My foot is cold.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">My shoe is off. My foot is cold.<br \/>\nI have a bird I like to hold.<br \/>\nMy hat is old. My teeth are gold.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">And now my story is all told.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">.<br \/>\n&#8220;Did you ever fly a kite in bed?<br \/>\nDid you ever walk with ten cats on your head?<br \/>\nDid you ever milk this kind of cow?<br \/>\nWell, we can do it. We know how.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If you never did, you should.<br \/>\nThese things are fun and fun is good.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">.<br \/>\n&#8220;Today is gone.
