Wedding at the Grand Plaza: Marissa and Ryan

Marissa and Ryan are a gorgeous couple and they had a terrific wedding day!  They were married at the Grand Plaza with the ceremony on the beach and the reception in the Imperial Ballroom.  Marissa looked amazing!  She had her hair and makeup done by Destiny and Light and her Mori Lee by Madeline Gardner gown was perfect on her.  Even better, Marissa got her gown from Brides Against Breast Cancer!  How wonderful!

I love the yellow used as a wedding color.  The couple also used pink as another color so the wedding had a fun and summery pink lemonade look.  Rose Garden Florist did a terrific job using the bright colors in the floral arrangements.

The videographer was Beyond Videography and the DJ was from Expert Productions.  The beach themed yellow cake was from Sweet! by The Cake Factory.  Marissa and Ryan gave their guests personalized sunglasses as a favor.  Guests were also treated to a candy buffet with lots of yellow candies.  Instead of a traditional guest book, the bride and groom had guests sign Jenga pieces.  That will be a great coffee table game for the newlyweds’ home!

It was awesome that Marissa and Ryan planned time throughout the day for bride and groom pictures.  They had a First Sight before the ceremony, then did more bride and groom pictures before the reception.  After their first dance they snuck out for sunset pictures, and then they ended the night with a few pictures after dark on the street.  Thanks for planning the time for photography into your day Marissa and Ryan!  Congratulations to the newlyweds!
