Wedding at the Lange Farm: Courtney and Adam

It was wonderful for Jason to see Courtney and Adam start their lives together as husband and wife!  There were so many sweet moments throughout their wedding day.  They were married at the Lange Farm and had a First Look on the bridge.  Some couples worry that seeing each other before the ceremony takes away from the moment they see each other down the aisle, but more often it enhances that moment!  A First Look is private and a special time for just the bride and groom.  At the ceremony, that moment is shared with friends and family and the couple knows that the most important part of the day is about to happen!  It was obvious that Courtney and Adam were excited not just for their wedding day, but for their marriage as well!

Pastor Dean Ryder was the officiant and the ceremony was held in front of the big oak tree.  Instead of a sand ceremony, Courtney and Adam had a pretty flowering tree and each added soil to the base.  What a perfect way to celebrate the day they lay the roots of their own family tree!  The tree had little purple flowers and purple was the main color for the wedding day.  The groomsmen even wore purple argyle socks!  Bridesmaids were in purple dresses and carried purple and white bouquets.  The florist was Bay Bouquet.

Guests at the wedding had fun with a big Jenga game, cornhole bride and groom boards, a candy buffet, a pasta bar, flip flops to dance in, and silly props for a photo booth.  The food and cake was from Olympia Catering.  I love that the couple had framed bath time pictures of themselves as kids to mark the bathrooms as “Ladies” and “Gents.”  That is such a cute and original idea!  The DJ was Rob from Grant Hemond and after dancing the night ended with a bubble departure.

Thanks so much to Courtney and Adam for having us as part of your awesome wedding!  We hope that the love and happiness from your wedding day grows throughout your marriage, just as your tree will!
