Wedding at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Westin Harbour Island: Anna and Jeff

Anna and Jeff exchanged their wedding vows at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and celebrated afterward with a reception at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island.  The wedding flowers looked beautiful!  The arrangements almost looked ruffled and there were lots of white orchids used.  The florist who put it together was Fairytale Weddings and Events by Shelly.  At the reception Anna and Jeff had Southtown Fever for their live music and they were sure to keep the dance floor busy all night.  The cake was from Publix Greenwise and it too had a ruffled look similar to the flowers.  All the details helped to create a beautiful wedding day.

The newlyweds are a wonderful couple.  Jason said that throughout the day he would see this look on their faces of being completely in love and so happy.  Anna and Jeff, many blessings to you both for a long and happy life and marriage!

Wedding at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island: Lindsay and David

After a beautiful engagement session with Lindsay and David, dad was excited to spend the day after Thanksgiving celebrating their wedding.  They are such a sweet couple and dad said seeing them so happy and in love on their wedding day was a wonderful thing.  The wedding took place at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island.  Their coordinator was Brittany of Tickled Pink Brides and dad enjoyed meeting her.  Lindsay and David’s other vendors on their terrific team included videographer Chad Whelan who dad always has fun with, Cari of Kyle Lynn Weddings for hair and makeup, beautiful floral arrangements by Redman Steele Floral Design Studio, Bella Musica playing music during the ceremony, the always talented Rob Sword of Sword Sounds for the DJ, a pretty cake from A Piece of Cake and decor items from Fairytale Weddings and Events (727-235-2771).

Lindsay and David had their first sight before the ceremony so that they would have time for daylight pictures of the bride and groom.  It was raining a bit but dad just had the couple duck into some covered areas for pictures.  The ceremony was officiated by the bride’s uncle and having someone who knows the couple always makes it more intimate and personal.  At the reception the guests were treated to an ice cream bar and Florida Gators cookies to honor the University of Florida where the couple met, fell in love, and were engaged.  Mom thought it was cute that the cookies weren’t put out until later in the evening and the favor tags read, “See you later… Alligator!  Thanks for coming.  Go Gators!”  Those little personal details are what make every wedding so special for each couple.

The newlyweds enjoyed a honeymoon in Italy and France!  We are sure it was an amazing trip.  Lindsay and David, we hope every day of your marriage is filled with as much romance and fun as all the deep dip kisses as you shared on your wedding day:).  Congratulations!

Mary and Mike at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island

Mary and Mike were married on Friday at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island.  They are friends with Mandy and Jim (click here to see their wedding on the blog) whose 1 year anniversary is this Saturday!  Mandy and Jim just had a baby girl so they have many blessings to celebrate during their first year of marriage.  Happy Anniversary!

When dad met Mary and Mike early this year, they had their adorable baby son with them.  When dad saw them on Friday, their son was now a toddler!  He looked so cute in his bow tie.  The wedding had a fun music theme, with rose petal cones made out of sheet music, tables named after musicians such as Dave Matthews, Peter Gabriel, and Nat King Cole, and admission tickets for each guest to give to ushers to be seated at the reception.  The wedding colors were black and white with green to brighten it up and it came together to decorate the reception room beautifully with white hanging paper lanterns, black linens, and green centerpieces.

Debbie of Champagne Wishes was the florist and mom thinks she did an awesome job with the bride’s bouquet.  Ben from Grant Hemond always has tons of energy and he rocked the reception.  Dad likes working with him.  A Piece of Cake made the couple’s unique and creative cake.  Mary and Mike had a fun first dance and worked with Olga of You by OG for the choreography.

Congratulations Mary and Mike!  Enjoy your Disney honeymoon!!

It was raining that morning so the wedding was moved inside, but the couple waited and the rain eventually stopped.  They ended up with their outdoor ceremony by the water but the late start had it starting just after sunset.

Mary changed to a fun black dress for her first dance, then changed back to her gown for the rest of the reception.
