Wedding at the Ritz Ybor: Amanda and Geoffrey

Jason was excited to be a part of Amanda and Geoffrey’s wedding! There were many other couples he knew from previous weddings that he was happy to see again, and he knew that Amanda and Geoffrey were lots of fun so the wedding was sure to be a great time! It was an amazing day filled with gorgeous details and lots of laughs.

Amanda was stunning as a bride. She is a hair stylist and co-owner at Trends by Devicci Salon and had other stylists from her salon there for hair. Marissa Manisalco did the makeup. Amanda’s gown was ridiculously beautiful! It had just the right amount of embellishment and detailing.

The wedding was held at the Ritz Ybor. Amanda and Geoffrey had a team of vendors that helped to bring their ideas to life. The videographer was Jacques of Studios 76. The red and purple flower arrangements were accented with black feathers. Apple Blossoms Floral Designs did a wonderful job putting those together. Tampa Lights did the drapes, along with Decoratively Speaking Events who did both draping fabric and decor. The decor really helped to pull the look of the day together. The ceremony was officiated by Rabbi Joel Simon and the DJ and MC for the reception was DJ Papi from Wild Out Entertainment. Rigatoni’s Catering made the food which was really yummy but Jason said the highlight for the guests was that they were able to eat their menus! They were big pieces of chocolate made by Chocolate Dreams and Wishes. Decoratively Speaking Events also did the specialty linens which, along with the chiavari chairs from Busy Bee Chair Company, created an opulent and elegant look. The cakes from Cakes A Go-Go included a tall and whimsical red and black cake and a UCF helmet for the groom’s cake.

Jason said the wedding was a blast! He was happy to share it with some of his past couples and other great people. You could see Amanda and Geoffrey’s personalities in the details of the day. Not only did all of those details come together to create an absolutely gorgeous day, but everyone there was laughing and enjoying themselves all day long as well. Congratulations to the newlyweds and thanks for having Jason capture these memories for you!

Wedding at The Club at Treasure Island: Lauren and Justin

Lauren and Justin’s day was awesome! They are an amazing couple and so much fun to be around, the day and details were beautiful, and Jason saw lots of familiar friendly faces from other weddings. He had a terrific time with everyone! Liz Smith Events and Weddings was the coordinator for the day and helped to make it special. The wedding day started with Lauren having her hair done by Amanda of Trends Salon by Devicci. Amanda’s own wedding took place just a few weeks later and Jason was happy to be part of that day as well! Marissa Maniscalco was the makeup artist. The bouquets and floral arrangements were mostly purple and white with some green. They were put together by The Bride’s Bouquet. At St. Paul’s Catholic Church the groom touched a sign that said, “Wed Like a Champion Today” before walking out the door of the getting ready room and starting the ceremony. The reception was held at The Club at Treasure Island and it was a party! Rob Sword of Sword Sounds was the DJ and the cake was done by Publix.

Lauren and Justin are fantastic together. You can see the love and joy they share and Jason was honored to be there to celebrate the start of their lives together. Thanks to the bride and groom and all of their wonderful family and friends.

Wedding at St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Florida Aquarium: Melissa and Joe

Jason came home from Melissa and Joe’s wedding and could not stop talking about how much fun he had and how awesome the couple and their wedding party was! They were up for anything and had lots of creative ideas for their pictures. They gave Jason enough time before the ceremony to go to different places and they had a blast every where they went!

Jason started the morning with Melissa and her girls. Melissa’s makeup was done by Marissa Maniscalo and her hair was done by Amanda of Trends Salon. Jason will be photographing Amanda’s wedding in the spring. It is going to be an amazing day as well! Melissa then had an idea for some pictures as a surprise for Joe and went to Hooters for pictures and wings of course. After Hooters they took some pictures around Downtown Tampa before Jason left to meet up with the guys at a cigar bar. They had fun with their pictures in Ybor and then everyone headed over to St. Paul Lutheran Church for the ceremony.

The reception was at the Florida Aquarium with a DJ from Expert Productions and a cake from Publix. Melissa and Joe had a classic black and white theme for their wedding attire and the all-white bouquets and boutonnieres were from Heather of Beautiful Floral Designs. The reception was lit by candle light and pretty purple and blue uplighting. After dinner the dance floor was packed! The fake mustaches were a big hit with all the guests. You know the party is a memorable one when people are taking shots from pink flamingos.

Congratulations to Melissa and Joe! Jason loved you two and he had a terrific time spending your wedding day with you and your wedding party! We hope you keep the laughter from your wedding day going throughout your married life.
