Wedding at the Lange Farm: Caitlin and Tim

Caitlin and Tim were married at the First United Methodist Church of Zephyrhills and had their reception at the beautiful Lange Farm in Dade City.  They had a terrific team of vendors including Julissa of Beauty Brought Out for hair and makeup, Irene of For Better For Less for flowers, catering by Hungry Harry’s Bar-B-Que, Doug Decker from Grant Hemond as the DJ, and a cake from Chef Nelson’s Cake Studio.

It was wonderful to see all the ways that the couple personalized their wedding to reflect their personalities.  There were Gator details including the garter, a cookie cake, and orange and blue streamers on the get away car.  I am a bit juvenile, I know, but I giggled a little at the letters on the head table of the couple’s monogram, THC:).  Before Caitlin and Tim were introduced at the reception, a “referee” came in with a whistle holding a “2 Bits” sign.  The first dance started off like a traditional bride and groom dance and then the couple broke out into some fun dance moves!  The fun dancing continued throughout the night.  Guests at the wedding including people from the bride’s sorority and groom’s fraternity and both groups did their chants during the reception.  I absolutely loved the quote that they had decorating the wall.  It said, “Today two friends become one family.”  It was similar to a quote Jason and I used at our own wedding and it reminded me of the two of us as well!  It is so special when the person you love and will spend the rest of your life with is your best friend as well and it is obvious that Caitlin and Tim share that too.  We hope your friendship continues to grow stronger as you start your lives together now as a family!

Wedding at St. Leo Abbey and The Lange Farm: Paige and Eric

Dad had a wonderful time at Paige and Eric’s wedding.  The ceremony was at Saint Leo Abbey.  The couple decided on a first sight before the ceremony which gave them lots of time for bride and groom pictures and bridal party pictures.  Dad always loves having extra time for pictures with the couple, and brides and grooms always love having more pictures with more variety after the wedding day!  The reception was held at The Lange Farm which is one of dad’s most favorite venues.  Michelle just rocks and there are lots of beautiful places for pictures there.

Paige had the talented and sweet Darla Stafford with her that morning for hair and makeup.  Paige was a gorgeous bride and mom loved the lace and ribbon on her gown.  The flowers were by Fishhawk Florist and matched the wedding colors of white and dark blue.  At the reception, dinner was from Catered by Vesh, the guests danced to music from a Grant Hemond DJ, and the pretty butterfly cake was made by Cakes by Design.  There were other butterfly details at the reception as well, such as the blue butterflies on the table markers.  Butterflies are becoming more and more popular as a wedding theme!

Thanks to Paige and Eric for having dad share your beautiful day with you and your friends and family.  We wish you lots of love and happiness!

Wedding at the Lange Farm: Nancy and Tracy

Nancy and Tracy’s Lange Farm wedding had Mickey ears every where!  From a sand castle in the shape of Cinderella’s castle to the tables named after Disney characters, their Disney theme came together wonderfully.  The wedding was at the always wonderful Lange Farm.  Dad loves photographing there and the people there are terrific.  Their wedding color was purple and Nancy’s gown had beautiful purple detailing to match.  Nancy and Tracy’s wedding was made even more special because of the personal details as well.  Nancy carried a bible that was given to her grandmother when she was 16 and carried in the weddings of Nancy’s mom and aunt.  The officiant was a relative which always makes the ceremony more meaningful.  Nancy pulled up to the ceremony in a red VW bug which later had cans and jugs tied to the back and was  filled with purple balloons for the couple’s departure.  The multi-tiered wedding cake was made by Nancy’s mom and had both Cinderella’s castle and a bride and groom riding a motorcycle.  There was a lot of love put into planning this wedding!

Dad got to work with David of Trinity Wedding Video who is a great guy.  The other vendors included Pam Verschuere for flowers, Luigi’s Catering, and John of DJ Perfections for the DJ.

Congratulations Nancy and Tracy!  We hope you had a great time on your Disney honeymoon!

Lange Farm Wedding: Caroline and David

We are so excited to share some images from Caroline and Dave’s beautiful wedding.  Dad photographed the couple’s engagement session in November and we have all been looking forward to their day for a while!  Caroline and Dave were married at the Lange Farm, a picturesque venue with terrific people.  The bride and groom put together an awesome team of vendors including Chad Whelan as the videographer, Pam Verschuere for flowers, Amy of Not from a Box for stationary, Alafia String Quartet for ceremony music, Mise En Place for catering, Doug Decker of Grant Hemond as the DJ, Shutterbooth for a photo booth, Kathryn Flocken of Paper Portraits for hand cut silhouette pictures used as the guest book as as favors for the guests, and Wright’s Bakery for an assortment of cakes that were both pretty and very yummy!  There were so many details that were meaningful to the couple and their families and that is what really makes a wedding special.  It all came together so well!

At the wedding, Caroline, Dave, and their families made dad feel like one of the family.  He had such a great time with all of them.  The wedding day was filled with the past, present, and future of a young couple joining their lives and their families together.  Dad said it was an honor to be there to share in the love and celebration of the day.  The bride’s mom, Vicki, is simply an amazing person and mom wanted to send a special thank you to her for being so fun, good-hearted, and kind.  We have loved being a part of the excitement of this special time for Caroline, Dave, and their families and we cannot wait to see what wonderful blessings the future holds for them!  Congratulations Caroline and Dave!

Lange Farm Wedding: Kristen and Chris

With all the laughs they had at their engagement session, dad knew Kristen and Chris was going to have a wedding day that was full of love and happiness.  They were married at the beautiful Lange Farm, one of dad’s favorite places for weddings.  Dad got to work with Michelle who does a great job.  Everyone always loves Darla Stafford who was their to share her talents for Kristen’s hair and makeup.  The couple also had the incredible Rob Sword from Sword Sounds as both the officiant and the DJ.  Delectables was the caterer and the yummy Disney cake was made by Laurie of A Piece of Cake.  What an awesome team of vendors to work with!

Kristen and Chris chose a pretty persimmon color along with a chocolate brown as their wedding colors.  Dad loved that they strung up pictures on a clothesline as decoration and included some of their fun engagement images.  Mom’s favorite detail was the string of pearls that Kristen had draped on her bouquet.  Pearls make every wedding feel more classic and romantic!  Kristen and Chris, have fun on your Disney cruise and we hope you do live happily ever after!
