Wedding at the Lange Farm: Andrea and Patrick

Andrea and Pat had their blue and white vintage wedding at the beautiful Lange Farm in Dade City.  The bride and groom did a wonderful job with the details creating a romantic, vintage, down-home feel to their day.  At the ceremony the “Here Comes the Bride” banner was a blue quilt on burlap with lace edging. Bridesmaids carried bouquets of baby’s breath while the groomsmen had boutonnieres made from a flower on an antique key.  The reception was decorated with vintage-themed centerpieces.  There were stacks of antique books tied with ribbon, owls, and small globes next to jars of daisies.  The dinner was catered by Hungry Harry’s Famous BBQ and the wedding cake was beautifully decorated with a ribbon on the middle tier.  For the guest book, guests wrote messages on paper with vintage icons and pinned them to an antique bulletin board.

The wedding details came together beautifully!  Congratulations to Andrea and Pat!  We wish them a lifetime of happiness.

Wedding at the Lange Farm: Emily and Joshua

Emily and Josh were married at the Lange Farm in Dade City.  They had a beautiful autumn wedding with browns, oranges, reds, and yellows as the fall colors.  Irene of For Better for Less was the florist and at the reception the vendors were Amici’s Catering,  Laurie from A Piece of Cake, and Sean of Sword Sounds.

The couple had bride and groom pictures after their ceremony and then did a few more at the end of the night when the reception ended.  Jason likes having the time to get the bride and groom more variety to their pictures!  I think it is a wonderful thing when a couple makes their faith an important part of their wedding day.  Josh took a moment to stand with his groomsmen and pray before the ceremony.  We wish the couple many blessings in their life together as husband and wife.  Congratulations to a wonderful couple!

Wedding at St. Leo Abbey and the Lange Farm: Dawn and Brandon

Jason photographed Dawn and Brandon’s engagement session in the spring and he was happy to join them again for their wedding day!  They were married in a ceremony at the beautiful St. Leo Abbey and their reception was held at The Lange Farm which has so many places for great pictures.  Pam Verschuere put together the flowers for the wedding and at the reception Dawn and Brandon had Rob from Grant Hemond as the DJ and Luigi’s Catering for the food.

Navy and white were the wedding colors with some silver accents as well.  The couple used their monogram with an anchor on details like the candle lanterns, the favor tags on the yummy treats for each guest, and the candy buffet containers.  Everything looked wonderful and it was a terrific day!  Congratulations to Dawn and Brandon and we hope Costa Rica was awesome!

Wedding at the Lange Farm: Caitlin and Tim

Caitlin and Tim were married at the First United Methodist Church of Zephyrhills and had their reception at the beautiful Lange Farm in Dade City.  They had a terrific team of vendors including Julissa of Beauty Brought Out for hair and makeup, Irene of For Better For Less for flowers, catering by Hungry Harry’s Bar-B-Que, Doug Decker from Grant Hemond as the DJ, and a cake from Chef Nelson’s Cake Studio.

It was wonderful to see all the ways that the couple personalized their wedding to reflect their personalities.  There were Gator details including the garter, a cookie cake, and orange and blue streamers on the get away car.  I am a bit juvenile, I know, but I giggled a little at the letters on the head table of the couple’s monogram, THC:).  Before Caitlin and Tim were introduced at the reception, a “referee” came in with a whistle holding a “2 Bits” sign.  The first dance started off like a traditional bride and groom dance and then the couple broke out into some fun dance moves!  The fun dancing continued throughout the night.  Guests at the wedding including people from the bride’s sorority and groom’s fraternity and both groups did their chants during the reception.  I absolutely loved the quote that they had decorating the wall.  It said, “Today two friends become one family.”  It was similar to a quote Jason and I used at our own wedding and it reminded me of the two of us as well!  It is so special when the person you love and will spend the rest of your life with is your best friend as well and it is obvious that Caitlin and Tim share that too.  We hope your friendship continues to grow stronger as you start your lives together now as a family!

Wedding at St. Leo Abbey and The Lange Farm: Paige and Eric

Dad had a wonderful time at Paige and Eric’s wedding.  The ceremony was at Saint Leo Abbey.  The couple decided on a first sight before the ceremony which gave them lots of time for bride and groom pictures and bridal party pictures.  Dad always loves having extra time for pictures with the couple, and brides and grooms always love having more pictures with more variety after the wedding day!  The reception was held at The Lange Farm which is one of dad’s most favorite venues.  Michelle just rocks and there are lots of beautiful places for pictures there.

Paige had the talented and sweet Darla Stafford with her that morning for hair and makeup.  Paige was a gorgeous bride and mom loved the lace and ribbon on her gown.  The flowers were by Fishhawk Florist and matched the wedding colors of white and dark blue.  At the reception, dinner was from Catered by Vesh, the guests danced to music from a Grant Hemond DJ, and the pretty butterfly cake was made by Cakes by Design.  There were other butterfly details at the reception as well, such as the blue butterflies on the table markers.  Butterflies are becoming more and more popular as a wedding theme!

Thanks to Paige and Eric for having dad share your beautiful day with you and your friends and family.  We wish you lots of love and happiness!
