Wedding at the Florida Aquarium: Chelsae and Eric

Jason joined Chelsae and Eric for their wedding at the Florida Aquarium.  It is such a wonderful venue for a wedding because it is iconic of Florida without being at the beach.  The bride and groom had their ceremony in front of the large tank in the Coral Reef exhibit and afterward two penguins joined them for their pictures.  It was an unseasonably chilly evening, but heaters were set up to warm up the outdoor reception.  It was decorated with a beachy, nautical theme with the help of decorator Kim Frazer of The Perfect Settings.  The cake was from Publix Greenwise and had starfish and the purple and khaki colors of the wedding.

It is always an honor for Jason to join the same family again for another special day!  Jason photographed the groom’s sister’s wedding years ago and was happy to see her and their family again.  Chelsae and Eric were laid back and so much fun on their big day!  They made the wedding a celebration of love and family.  The newlyweds are honeymooning in Rome which is sure to be an amazing trip!  Congratulations Chelsae and Eric!

Wedding at St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Florida Aquarium: Melissa and Joe

Jason came home from Melissa and Joe’s wedding and could not stop talking about how much fun he had and how awesome the couple and their wedding party was!  They were up for anything and had lots of creative ideas for their pictures.  They gave Jason enough time before the ceremony to go to different places and they had a blast every where they went!

Jason started the morning with Melissa and her girls.  Melissa’s makeup was done by Marissa Maniscalo and her hair was done by Amanda of Trends Salon.  Jason will be photographing Amanda’s wedding in the spring.  It is going to be an amazing day as well!  Melissa then had an idea for some pictures as a surprise for Joe and went to Hooters for pictures and wings of course:).  After Hooters they took some pictures around Downtown Tampa before Jason left to meet up with the guys at a cigar bar.  They had fun with their pictures in Ybor and then everyone headed over to St. Paul Lutheran Church for the ceremony.

The reception was at the Florida Aquarium with a DJ from Expert Productions and a cake from Publix.  Melissa and Joe had a classic black and white theme for their wedding attire and the all-white bouquets and boutonnieres were from Heather of Beautiful Floral Designs.  The reception was lit by candle light and pretty purple and blue uplighting.  After dinner the dance floor was packed!  The fake mustaches were a big hit with all the guests.  You know the party is a memorable one when people are taking shots from pink flamingos.

Congratulations to Melissa and Joe!  Jason loved you two and he had a terrific time spending your wedding day with you and your wedding party!  We hope you keep the laughter from your wedding day going throughout your married life.

Wedding at the Florida Aquarium: Kimberly and Jimmy

Kim and Jimmy, otherwise known as Jimberly, had their wedding at the The Florida Aquarium.  It is a terrific venue to have a wedding that reflects Florida without having a beach wedding.  Before going to the aquarium, Kim had her hair and makeup done at ManTrap.  The couple had Ian of Movie Magic Productions as the videographer and he is wonderful to work with and does a great job.  Flowers were done by Lorilarson Flowers.  Rob Sword of Sword Sounds was the officiant and the DJ.  Jason always enjoys working with Rob and he is terrific at what he does.  The wedding cake was from Publix on Bayshore.

Jason had a blast at this wedding!  Kim and Jimmy are an awesome couple and so fun to be around.  Many of their guests were people dad knew from past and upcoming weddings, including Sarah and Rob and their adorable son.  The details Kim and Jimmy chose were perfect for an aquarium wedding.  Kim carried a bouquet that was filled with bling!  The flowers were all crystals and the base was wrapped in white and blue ribbon.  Kim’s shoes were glittery with lots of crystals as well.  All of the rhinestones looked like the reflection of light on water which was beautiful at an aquarium wedding!  The bridesmaids wore gowns in a gorgeous blue color to go with the water theme as well.

Congratulations Kim and Jimmy!  We are so happy that we were able to be part of your wedding day and we hope you keep in touch!

Wedding at the Florida Aquarium: Molly and Ryan

Molly and Ryan were married at Bayshore Baptist Church with a reception at The Florida Aquarium.  They were an upbeat couple and made sure to have fun on their wedding day.  Molly was the Maid of Honor in Ashleigh and Matt’s wedding and now Ashleigh was Molly’s Maid of Honor.  Dad was happy to see Ashleigh and Matt again!  The wedding colors were purple and green with flowers from Cheral Floral Studio.  Molly and Ryan had their First Sight moment outside of the church and then went inside for pictures with their wedding party.  After the ceremony and a few more church pictures everyone headed over to the aquarium for the reception.  Dad was happy to work with Frank Lebano who was the DJ for the wedding.  The couple had a table filled with candy, cookies, and cupcakes from The Cupcake Spot.  We’re sure it was yummy because the bride and groom made sure to enjoy it when they fed cake to each other!

Molly and Ryan, we hope the terrific memories you have of your day stay in your hearts throughout your marriage!  Congratulations!

Wedding at the Florida Aquarium: Jenny and Chuck

Jenny and Chuck had their wedding at The Florida Aquarium in Tampa.  Their ceremony was in front of the the panoramic window of the Coral Reefs.  It was amazing to see them exchange their vows as large fish and sharks swam by!  Dad had so much fun taking Jenny and Chuck around the aquarium to find fun places for pictures.  The bride and groom were laughing and kissing and having a blast all day!  After the reception the couple went outside for a few pictures on the downtown streets at night.  It was a terrific wedding and dad is happy he was able to be a part of it.  The newlyweds went on a Caribbean cruise for their honeymoon.  We hope you enjoyed some snorkeling to see more fish, but not any more sharks!  Congratulations Jenny and Chuck!
