Wedding at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Westin Tampa Harbour Island: Kaylynn and Blake

Jason had a wonderful time with Kaylynn and Blake on their wedding day!  They had a terrific planner to help them put all the details of the day together.  Jason always loves working with Lori of Simply Divine Events!  The florist was Floral Events by Joanne.  Kaylynn had her hair and makeup done by Jen from Belle Elan Salon before heading to the ceremony.  The couple exchanged vows in a Nuptial Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  The poinsettias and white lights made an already beautiful church look even more decorated.  After the ceremony Kaylynn and Blake took pictures at Sacred Heart before heading to downtown Tampa for a few pictures with their wedding party.  Then the party began!  The reception was held at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island.  Jason was happy to work with Josh of Inspire Entertainment who was the DJ for the night.  The gorgeous wedding cake was made by Chantilly Cakes.  Guests were also treated to a purple candy buffet with purple rock candy, purple gummy bears, and more.  Jason was glad he wore his purple shirt!

Congratulations to Kaylynn and Blake on their beautiful wedding, and many blessings for their future!

Wedding at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach: Carrie and James

Carrie and James had a wonderful wedding at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach.  Jason always enjoys working with Lori of Simply Divine Events.  She was the couple’s planner and she always does a great job.  The bride and groom had their ceremony on the Sky Terrace overlooking the water.  Carrie and James ended the ceremony with their first dance as a married couple.  At the reception the awesome Frank Lebano was the DJ and the wedding cake was made by Cakes by Nomeda.  The guest favors were in “His” and “Hers” buckets and included cigars in “His” bucket and elegant silver favor cones with thank you tags in “Hers.”  There were also pretty bags marked with the names of grandparents who had passed away.  Inside the bags were candies that were each of the grandparents’ favorites.  Guests were also able to take off their shoes and grab some flip flops so they could enjoy a night of dancing!  Carrie had a unique twist to her bouquet toss.  There were individual flowers with quotes about why it was great to be single (“Spontaneity, freedom and flexibility.  These are some of the best things about being single.”) tied to each flower.  There were lots of little details and touches making it a terrific day.  Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Wedding at the Davis Islands Garden Club: Jackie and Nick

Congratulations to Jackie and Nick!  They were married by the water at the Davis Islands Garden Club.  Jason was happy to see Jessica of Simply Divine Events again.  She was the planner for the wedding.  The videographer was Scott of Starstruck Video.  The main wedding color was orange with the guys in khaki suits.  Amy of Community Florist put together the orange floral arrangements.  The reception was catered by Delectables Catering and Felix the DJ was there to get the party going. He also put together the fun uplighting for the reception.  The wedding cake was made by Publix Greenwise.

Thanks to Jackie and Nick for having Jason there to share in your wedding day.  We hope the happiness of your wedding day grows throughout your marriage!

Wedding at the Davis Islands Garden Club: Sharon and Lawrence and the Butterflies

“Beautiful and graceful, varied and enchanting, small but approachable, butterflies lead you to the sunny side of life.  And everyone deserves a little sunshine.”  -Jeffrey Glassberg

Sharon and Larry had a beautiful garden style wedding with butterflies every where!  They had so many great details combining their colors of orange and pink with their butterfly theme.  Simply Divine Events was their wedding planner and helped put together a great day at the Davis Islands Garden Club.  Amy of Not From a Box made the stationary.  The flowers were done by Events in Bloom and looked gorgeous!  At the reception, Inspire Entertainment was the DJ and the pretty butterfly cake was made by Cakes by Nomeda.

Dad had a blast with this amazing couple.  He says they are all going to head out to the Beer Shed for a get together one night soon:).  Congratulations Sharon and Larry!

Jessica and Aaron at the Don Vicente de Ybor

Jessica and Aaron were married on Saturday at the Don Vicente de Ybor, a beautiful historic inn.  Dad got to work with Jessica and Lori of Simply Divine Events.  They were the wedding coordinators and dad said they were great to work with.  Before the ceremony, Jessica and Aaron had a first sight. It is great when couples have that moment by themselves and can really take in the moment.  It makes it so special.  It also let Jessica and Aaron have more time for bride and groom images!  At the ceremony, the couple included their children by giving them each a family medallion necklace.  One of dad’s favorite moments of the day was when the groom’s young son gave his toast.  He said that when he first met Jessica, he told his dad, “Boy, you sure are lucky.”  What a sweet toast!  John from DJ Perfections was the DJ at the reception and the guests had fun dancing with the tambourines John handed out.  Chocolate π made the cake and it was decorated with beautiful swirl details.

The newlyweds are headed to Hawaii for their honeymoon.  Have a great time!
