Wedding at the Crosley: Kelly and Chris

Jason had a wonderful time with Kelly and Chris as they celebrated their wedding day at the Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota. Their families and friends made the day so special. Bobbi of Weddings by Bobbi was the couple’s wedding coordinator and helped to put the beautiful details of the day together. Jason met Kelly at the Yellow Strawberry Hair and Makeup Salon where the girls had their hair and makeup done before heading to the Crosley. The flowers were done by Yelena of Elegant Floral Designs. The large ceremony arrangements were my favorites! The main wedding color was pink and the pink flowers really popped against the white flowers and greenery. Before the ceremony Kelly and Chris had a first sight which is always a sweet moment and also helps because the couple has more time in their day for pictures. The ceremony was by the water and Grace of A Wedding with Grace was the officiant. She always does a great job and Jason loves working with her. At the reception Sarasota Catering Company was the caterer, Dan of Sword Sounds was the DJ, and the wedding cake was made by Cakes by Ron.

Kelly was a gorgeous bride and her and Chris were a happy couple. Their wedding was both romantic and fun and Jason was happy to be a part of it. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Ashlee and Matthew’s Sarasota Wedding

With the help of their family and friends, Ashlee and Matt put together a beautiful New Year’s Eve wedding at a private residence in Sarasota. It was a wonderful afternoon celebrating the love of Ashee and Matt and the start of their married lives together. The wedding had a rustic charm with lemonade at the ceremony, long tables for the reception dinner, and purple and green flowers accented with peacock feathers. Jason was happy that he was able to be there to share in the couple’s wedding day. Thanks for having him there Ashlee and Matt, and all the best to you both in your future together!

Wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate: Heather and Anthony

Jason photographed Heather and Anthony’s engagement session in February and was happy to see them again on their wedding day at the beautiful Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota. The wedding day was a bit rainy and gray but the mix of colors the couple used brightened up the day. Bridesmaids wore blue dresses and carried white bouquets but each of them had bouquet ribbons and shoes in either yellow, purple, blue, or pink. The groomsmen also each wore one of those colors for their ties. At the reception, centerpieces, favors, and the framed table names also used the fun bright colors.

The flowers were done by Yelena of Elegant Designs. Grace of A Wedding with Grace is always a wonderful officiant. The food at the reception was from Sarasota Catering Company and the wedding cake was done by Publix. The DJ for the wedding was Isaac of Ikeman Entertainment.

Heather and Anthony, we hope you enjoyed your European honeymoon! Congratulations to you both on your marriage!

Wedding at the Ritz-Carlton in Sarasota: Kristy and JP

The colors of sunset in the sky on the Florida beaches this time of year are breath-taking. Kristy and JP were married as the sun was starting to go down and had their first pictures as husband and wife with those beautiful sunset colors. Their wedding was held at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota with the ceremony under a pavilion decorated in fabric, petals, and floral arrangements. Exotica Florist put together the flowers of oranges, pinks, and green accents. Kristy wore a romantic gown with lace covering the bodice and a silk ribbon sash decorated with beading. Cari from Kyle Lynn Weddings was there for hair and makeup and Kristi wore her hair down in soft curls under her veil. Her look went perfectly with her gown! Rob Sword from Sword Sounds was the DJ at the reception and dad looks forward to weddings with him. He always does a terrific job. Dad said the food was very yummy and the guests all seemed to enjoy it a lot as well.

The love that Kristy and JP share is obvious to anyone who spends any time with them. We are so happy for them with all they have to celebrate and look forward to as they start their lives together! Congratulations newlyweds!

Wedding at the Chelsea Center: Stefanie and Patrick

Congratulations to Stefanie and Patrick! They were married at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Sarasota with their reception following at the Chelsea Center. Olympia was their caterer and the awesome Rob Sword of Sword Sounds was the DJ. Stefanie and Patrick had black and white damask with red accents as their colors. Stefanie had gorgeous red shoes to go with their colors, not to mention her beautiful red hair! Their bride and groom pictures show that not all beautiful sunsets have to be on the beach. The newlyweds are headed of on a cruise to Europe for their honeymoon. We hope they have a fabulous time!
