Sanibel Island Family Session on the Beach

The weather didn’t look so great as Jason drove down to Sanibel to meet with Corinna and her family for a beach session. In fact, it was storming just a few miles away from the island and Jason felt certain that the family was going to have their session inside Corinna’s parents’ house. He felt bad because he knew how much they wanted to go to the beach. But as he got closer he saw that on the island itself it wasn’t raining! Corinna and her family headed to the beach with Jason and they had a wonderful time at their family session. Corinna’s two girls were adorable and I love the silly sister pictures! Thanks to the whole family for a fun evening on the beach.

Wedding at the Casa Ybel Resort: Kate and Chris

Kate and Chris came down from Wisconsin for a Florida beach wedding at the Casa Ybel Resort. Jennifer at the Casa Ybel Resort always does a terrific job and dad enjoyed seeing her again. Other vendors at the wedding included Suzi of Special Florida Weddings as the officiant, Ron Rutz as the DJ, and a wedding cake from Mason’s Bakery.

You know you have a special couple when the groom is presented with Superman Man of Steel undies at the reception! Kate and Chris were a laid back couple and they enjoyed their day as a celebration with family and friends as they looked forward to a long and happy future together. Kate and Chris, we wish you all the best in your life as husband and wife. Winter in Wisconsin is perfect for lots of cuddling by a fire and enjoying your first winter as a married couple!

Sanibel Harbour Wedding: Aboard the Sanibel Harbour Princess with Anne-Marie and Todd

When Anne-Marie first emailed about her wedding, dad knew immediately that she was his kind of bride. She described herself and Todd as a laid back couple, she said they were looking for candid, whimsical pictures, and she said that she was most excited about dad’s shoe images. That won dad right over! Their wedding was really special and romantic. Todd set everything up for Anne-Marie. He booked the Sanibel Harbour Princess, a yacht at the Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa, for a private cruise. There was just the two of them, the crew, and dad. The captain married Anne-Marie and Todd in a short ceremony and then the newlyweds enjoyed the sunset from the observation deck before their gourmet dinner of steak and lobster made by the chef on board.

Dad was truly honored to be part of such an intimate and romantic celebration. Anne-Marie and Todd are incredibly kind and caring people, and so much fun as well! They are going to have a wonderful life together as husband and wife. Thank you so much Anne-Marie and Todd, and we wish you all the best!

A Beautiful Thank You Card from Carolyn and Todd

Thank You cards make us smile. Carolyn and Todd were married in July (click here for their blog post). They had a gorgeous wedding at the Casa Ybel Resort in Sanibel. Some of dad’s pictures of their day were featured on blog for Casa Ybel Resort Weddings.

After the wedding, we received a beautiful Thank You card from them in the mail:

Carolyn and Todd at Casa Ybel Resort

Baby sister arrived! Pictures coming soon, but in the meantime we wanted to share Sunday’s wedding.

Sunday was Carolyn and Todd’s wedding day at Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island. Dad said Jennifer there was wonderful to work with! Dad also got to see Darla Stafford who came down for Carolyn’s hair and makeup. Ian from Movie Magic Productions was the videographer and the DJ was Dan from Danny Morgan Musical Services and both did a great job.

Carolyn and Todd were an awesome couple! Dad did their engagement session and was happy to see them again. They were so relaxed and calm the entire wedding day which made for a terrific atmosphere for them and all their guests. The ceremony included many Jewish traditions including the breaking of the glass at the end which Todd really put some power into! At the reception, tables were numbered with pictures of the couple’s dog. Guests were treated to delicious food, including thick steaks that dad raved about, and had cookies as their favors. Mom loved the wooden cake topper the couple had. It was so cute and included their dog as well.

We wish Carolyn and Todd a happy life together and want to thank them for having dad there for their day! We wish you both all the best!
