Wedding at St. Leo Abbey and the Lange Farm: Dawn and Brandon

Jason photographed Dawn and Brandon’s engagement session in the spring and he was happy to join them again for their wedding day!  They were married in a ceremony at the beautiful St. Leo Abbey and their reception was held at The Lange Farm which has so many places for great pictures.  Pam Verschuere put together the flowers for the wedding and at the reception Dawn and Brandon had Rob from Grant Hemond as the DJ and Luigi’s Catering for the food.

Navy and white were the wedding colors with some silver accents as well.  The couple used their monogram with an anchor on details like the candle lanterns, the favor tags on the yummy treats for each guest, and the candy buffet containers.  Everything looked wonderful and it was a terrific day!  Congratulations to Dawn and Brandon and we hope Costa Rica was awesome!

Wedding at Sacred Heart and the Tampa Yacht and Country Club: Melissa and John

Jason photographed Melissa and John’s engagement session right near their reception site at the Tampa Yacht and Country Club.  They had bright blue skies for their engagement pictures and the blue skies on their wedding day were just as beautiful.  The couple was married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tampa.  Melissa had her hair and makeup done by Donna of Camposecco Artistry.  The navy and white wedding colors were classic and perfect for a wedding at a yacht club.  Melissa wore a timeless halter gown with a long veil and John looked awesome in his tailcoat tux jacket and ascot!  The Arrangement Florist made floral arrangements and bouquets with all white flowers.  At the reception the DJ was Rob from Grant Hemond and the wedding cake was made by J. J. Gandy’s Pies.

Congratulations newlyweds!  We hope your Hawaiian honeymoon was amazing!

Wedding at the TradeWinds: Much Rejoicing with Emily and Stephan

Emily and Ted were so much fun at their engagement session and dad expected nothing less from their wedding.  Meghan of Dream Day Productions was the couple’s coordinator and the officiant so dad knew the day was sure to go well.  She’s wonderful to work with!  The couple was married at the TradeWinds Island Resort on St. Pete Beach.  Cari from KyleLynn Cosmetics was there for Emily’s getting ready.  Emily’s hair was pulled back into a low loose bun which was adorned with white flowers with a cluster of pearls in the center.  The wedding colors were shades of purples that were both bright and deep with green accents.  Stephanie from FishHawk Weddings created the bouquet and floral arrangements in the purple color.  The branches that made the ceremony arch were gorgeous!  Mom’s favorite detail from the wedding was also at the ceremony.  The couple had a sign that said, “And there was much rejoicing!” with flags that said, “Yay” for their guests to wave.  What a fun quote from the classic film Monty Python and the Holy Grail to use at a wedding!  The fun movie details continued at the reception where tables were named with quotes from some of the couple’s other favorite movies.  Rob from Grant Hemond did a great job as the DJ and Chef Nelson made the wedding cake.  Emily and Ted made their day fun and personal and everyone had a blast.  They are awesome people!  AND we have to thank Emily for all her help with that list of things to do when we head up to VT in just a couple weeks for our vacation!

Emily and Ted, thank you for having us as part of your wedding.  You two did a wonderful job having the day reflect your personalities and your love.  Congratulations, and be sure to stay in touch!

Angelia and Nathan’s Wedding at the Sirata

Back in June, dad had so much fun with Angie and Nate at their engagement session.  They had a great time and got some beautiful images so dad was really looking forward to their wedding day!  The big day was Friday and dad headed to the beach for their wedding at the Sirata.  Dad got to see the fabulous Darla Stafford again as she did Angie’s hair and makeup.  Dad and Darla have three weddings in a row together this weekend!  Angie and Nate’s other vendors included For Better For Less as the florist, DJ Rob Vollmar from Grant Hemond, and Chef Nelson for the wedding cake.

The weather was finally starting to cool off and it was a beautiful day for a beach wedding.  Angie and Nate had an awesome wedding party, though the groomsmen taught dad some very colorful terms that he wishes he could go back and unlearn;).  The wedding was lots of fun and Angie and Nate didn’t stop smiling all day long.  Congratulations Angie and Nate, and thanks for having dad there to celebrate with you!

Tricia and Jay at Jackson’s Bistro

On Friday dad joined Tricia and Jay for their wedding in Tampa.  They came down from Tennessee to celebrate with a group of their close family and friends.  Shawna of Flawless Occasions was the coordinator for the wedding.  She kept the day running smoothly and was great to work with.  Darla Stafford and Julie Robbins were with Tricia for hair and makeup and did a terrific job as always.  The ceremony was held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help and dad loved the two beautiful paintings they have on either side of the alter there.  It was so sweet to see the couple include their daughters during the ceremony by presenting them with a necklace.

The reception was held at Jackson’s Bistro in a room overlooking the water.  Rob of Grant Hemond was the DJ and dad enjoyed working with him again.  He ended the night by passing the microphone to the guests who gathered in a circle around the couple to congratulate them and wish them well.

The wedding had a black and white theme and the bride wore a gown to match the wedding decor.  The dress had black detailing and a long black train while the bridesmaids wore black dresses with white ribbon around the waist and down the back.  At the reception, tables had black linens with white candles and dishes.  The chairs had black chair covers with white sashes draped diagonally and tied on the side to give them a more modern look.

Congratulations Tricia and Jay!  Have fun in St. Marteen!
