Jason started the morning with Melissa and her girls.  Melissa’s makeup was done by Marissa and her hair was done by Amanda of Trends Salon.  Jason will be photographing Amanda’s wedding in the spring.  It is going to be an amazing day as well!  Melissa then had an idea for some pictures as a surprise for Joe and went to Hooters for pictures and wings of course :) .  After Hooters they took some pictures around Downtown Tampa before Jason left to meet up with the guys at a cigar bar.  They had fun with their pictures in Ybor and then everyone headed over to St. Paul Lutheran Church for the ceremony.

The reception was at the Florida Aquarium with a DJ from Expert Productions and a cake from Publix.  Melissa and Joe had a classic black and white theme for their wedding attire and the all-white bouquets and boutonnieres were from Heather of Beautiful Floral Designs.  The reception was lit by candle light and pretty purple and blue uplighting.  After dinner the dance floor was packed!  The fake mustaches were a big hit with all the guests.  You know the party is a memorable one when people are taking shots from pink flamingos.

Congratulations to Melissa and Joe!  Jason loved you two and he had a terrific time spending your wedding day with you and your wedding party!  We hope you keep the laughter from your wedding day going throughout your married life.

]]> http://www.jasonangeliniphotography.com/blog/2011/12/wedding-at-st-paul-lutheran-church-and-the-florida-aquarium-melissa-and-joe/feed/ 0 Wedding at the Willoughby Golf Club: Damaris and Joseph http://www.jasonangeliniphotography.com/blog/2011/11/wedding-at-the-willoughby-golf-club-damaris-and-joseph/ http://www.jasonangeliniphotography.com/blog/2011/11/wedding-at-the-willoughby-golf-club-damaris-and-joseph/#comments Mon, 28 Nov 2011 00:25:30 +0000 Jason Angelini http://www.jasonangeliniphotography.com/blog/?p=21333 Damaris and Joseph had a pretty engagement session in the park this summer.  They are both such nice people and Jason was happy to join them for their wedding day.  They were married at the Willoughby Golf Club, a venue which is very fitting for them :) .  The florist was Sylvia from The Flower Market and at the reception the DJ was from Party with Us Entertainment and the cake was from Publix.  The wedding colors were navy and yellow and Joseph took that to another level at the end of the night when he put on a banana outfit!  At the reception was a pretty framed art piece of a wedding tree with a navy bird and a yellow bird sitting on a branch.  A heart with the couple’s initials was carved into the trunk.  Guests made the leaves to the tree with their thumbprints and then signed their names.  It looked so pretty when it was done and it will be a wonderful memory of the wedding day when it is hanging in Damaris and Joseph’s home.

Congratulations to Damaris and Joseph!  We wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Thelma and Gary gave Jason enough time to walk around the streets of Tampa taking fun and creative bride and groom pictures without feeling rushed.  That always makes Jason happy!   The flowers came from Publix, the caterer was Catering by Robert, and the cake was from Sweetopia Bakery.  One of the wedding cake flavors was pumpkin cake with cream cheese filling.  How perfect for an autumn wedding!  Jason thought it was really sweet that the couple put a thank you message to their vendors on their menu.  They are such a great couple and we are honored that we were able to be part of their wedding day.  Congratulations newlyweds!

All the detailing on Kim’s gown was stunning and Kim wore it beautifully.  It was wonderful for Jason to be able to capture the emotion both Kim and Keith felt that day.  There was a perfect balance of tears and laughter.  Jason was also happy to see Courtney and Adam at the wedding too!  Congratulations to newlyweds Kim and Keith and all the best to them both as they start the journey of a long and happy marriage!

The newlyweds are a wonderful couple.  Jason said that throughout the day he would see this look on their faces of being completely in love and so happy.  Anna and Jeff, many blessings to you both for a long and happy life and marriage!

Jason had a blast at this wedding!  Kim and Jimmy are an awesome couple and so fun to be around.  Many of their guests were people dad knew from past and upcoming weddings, including Sarah and Rob and their adorable son.  The details Kim and Jimmy chose were perfect for an aquarium wedding.  Kim carried a bouquet that was filled with bling!  The flowers were all crystals and the base was wrapped in white and blue ribbon.  Kim’s shoes were glittery with lots of crystals as well.  All of the rhinestones looked like the reflection of light on water which was beautiful at an aquarium wedding!  The bridesmaids wore gowns in a gorgeous blue color to go with the water theme as well.

Congratulations Kim and Jimmy!  We are so happy that we were able to be part of your wedding day and we hope you keep in touch!

The flowers were done by Yelena of Elegant Designs.  Grace of A Wedding with Grace is always a wonderful officiant.  The food at the reception was from Sarasota Catering Company and the wedding cake was done by Publix.  The DJ for the wedding was Isaac of Ikeman Entertainment.

Heather and Anthony, we hope you enjoyed your European honeymoon!  Congratulations to you both on your marriage!

Samantha, Christian, and their wedding party had a blast on the wedding day!  Dad loved that they were all up for anything.  When doing some of the wedding party pictures they spotted a muscle builder on the beach.  One of the groomsmen approached him and asked him to be in a picture and before dad knew it the guy had lifted a bridesmaid up with one arm while he made muscle poses!  You never know what is going to happen when you get married on the beach during the busy summer season :)

Congratulations Samantha and Christian!  You had such a fun wedding and we hope the fun continued in Cabo!

Tanya and Jon had their First Sight before the ceremony and then met their family and wedding party on the beach for pictures.  They joined their guests at the reception right after the ceremony and then stepped out for a few minutes at sunset for more bride and groom pictures.

Emina and Anthony had a First Sight before the ceremony.  It was really sweet to see them smile and embrace and take in the moment.  They did their family and wedding party pictures before the ceremony and afterward they were able to enjoy time alone together for their bride and groom pictures.  To go with the vintage look of the wedding the couple had a classic car to use in their images.  Dad got a few more bride and groom pictures on the streets of Ybor after dark when Emina was in her party dress.

The couple’s team of vendors included Georgia Watson of Weddings by Georgia as the coordinator, hair and makeup from the Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group, Trinity Wedding Video as the videographer, flowers from Whole Foods, Robert from A Perfect Witness as the officiant, linens from Connie Duglin,  DJ Eladio from Delite Entertainment, and the wedding cake from Publix Greenwise.

Congratulations to Emina and Anthony!  We hope you are having an amazing time honeymooning in Europe!
