Wedding at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club: Kelly and Chris

Kelly and Chris had a beautiful summer wedding at the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club.  Kim of The Perfect Settings was the coordinator and florist and helped to put together the details that made the day gorgeous.  The videographers were Kyle and Kimberly of Gator Bride Videography.  At the ceremony Robert Hoffman from A Perfect Witness was the officiant and the ceremony music was played by Kathleen of Elegant Piano Inspirations.  The DJ at the reception was Jim from Black Tie DJs and the wedding cake was made by Pastries by Design.

I love the bridesmaids’ gowns from this wedding!  They were bright and fun with their ruffled necklines.  Kelly looked amazing in her Sottero and Midgley gown and Badgley Mischka heels.  Chris wore a gray vest and patterned gray tie while the other guys wore solid gray vests and ties.  The ceremony aisle was lined with petals leading to an arch of twisted wood branches draped in fabric and decorated with bunches of flowers.  More flowers hung in glass vases from shepherd hooks down the aisle.  After the ceremony Kelly and Chris had fun props for their pictures such as “And they lived happily ever after” signs for the wedding party to hold and a burlap “Mr. and Mrs.” pendant banner.  At the reception tall glass vases were decorated with draped crystals and topped with floral arrangements.  Guests filled out wedding mad libs and signed bottles of wine for Kelly and Chris’s special anniversaries.  Jason took Kelly and Chris out for a few quick night pictures during the reception and the fire pictures that he took were some of my favorite from the day.

The colors and details from this wedding came together so well.  It created a day of playful elegance.  Congratulations to Kelly and Chris!  Thanks for including us in such a terrific and special day!

Wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate: Katheryn and William

Katy and Will were married at the Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota.  They had a beautiful wedding day!  The flowers were from The Naked Florist, the caterer was Nellie’s Deli, and the amazing cake was made by Pastries By Design.  Katy was a gorgeous bride!  She looked stunning in her Lazaro gown.  She wore an elegant updo and after the ceremony when she took her veil off she replaced it with a rhinestone hair band.  It was a very cold and windy evening but that didn’t stop everyone from celebrating and having fun at the reception.  The dance floor was packed all night!

Congratulations to Katy and Will!  We wish them all the best as they begin their lives together as husband and wife!

Wedding at Lakewood Ranch Country Club: Jackie and Brett

Dad photographed Jackie and Brett’s engagement session on a cold morning in January and it was sweet to see them holding hands and snuggling through the session.  Their wedding was a few weeks ago at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club.  Jackie had her hair and makeup done by the always awesome Cari from Kyle Lynn Weddings.  The wedding color was a deep blue with accents of bright pinks, oranges, and greens.  The bouquets and floral arrangements from I Do Bouquets and Weddings were so fun and festive!

After the couple’s first sight and bride and groom pictures, the ceremony was held on the lawn with Bob Hoffman from A Perfect Witness as the officiant.  The reception was decorated with linens in that beautiful deep blue color, the bright and fun floral centerpieces, and pretty silver chairs.  The DJ was from Black Tie DJs and the wedding cake was made by Pastries by Design.

Congratulations Jackie and Brett!  We wish you a long and happy life as husband and wife!

Wedding at Mattison’s Riverside Restaurant: Lauren and Brock

Dad enjoyed spending the day with Lauren and Brock at their engagement session so he knew he was going to have fun with them on their big day.  They are a down-to-earth, happy couple and their wedding day was a beautiful and fun event!  Lauren had her hair and makeup done at her bridesmaid’s salon, Southern Roots salon in Sarasota.  Everyone then headed over to Mattison’s Riverside Restaurant where the wedding was going to take place.  Bee Ridge Florist did a terrific job on the flowers and the purple hydrangea and green orchids in Lauren’s bouquet looked pretty!  Before the ceremony Lauren and Brock had a first sight where they were able to spend a few minutes alone with each other taking in the excitement of the day before gathering their family and wedding party for the group pictures.

After the ceremony dad spent time with Lauren and Brock for their bride and groom pictures before they entered the reception.  The purple and green wedding colors were used in the menu and favor tags at each place setting as well as the table centerpieces.  Dad loved seeing all the engagement images that the couple used at their reception.  A large framed picture was the guest signature mat, there was a photo book of images telling all about their session, and the guest book table had pictures framed in modern green and purple frames which mom really loved!  The DJ for the reception was DJ Fitz from Jay Goodley Entertainment and the cake was made by Pastries by Design.

Lauren and Brock were the epitome of “the happy couple.”  They smiled and laughed and enjoyed every second of their wedding day!  Dad said anyone with them couldn’t help but smile and share in their happiness too.  Congratulations to Lauren and Brock!  We hope Cancun was awesome!
