Wedding at the Grand Plaza: Denise and Ron

We are so happy for Denise and Ron!  They are wonderful people and I’m so happy that we were able to be part of their wedding!  They were married at the Grand Plaza surrounded by close friends and family.  Their wedding day started out gray and stormy.  Denise and Ron came from Canada to be married on the beach so they weren’t going to let a little rain stop them!  Despite a light drizzle they continued on with the ceremony outside on the beach.  It reminds me of the quote, “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…It’s about learning to dance in the rain.”  The bride and groom saved the dancing for their reception but the point is still the same!

Everyone at the wedding was so friendly and kind, and Denise and Ron are terrific.  Congratulations to the newlyweds!  We hope that your married life doesn’t have many “storms” but when they come up we hope you hold hands and look into each other’s eyes and remember your wedding day!

Wedding at the Grand Plaza: Kathleen and Darrell

Kathleen and Darrell put together an elegant, intimate wedding at the Grand Plaza Beachfront Resort.  They exchanged vows on the beach with Pastor Dean Ryder as the officiant.  It was sweet seeing their three boys included in the sand ceremony.  The reception looked gorgeous with gold chiavari chairs from Signature Events by Design and beautiful pinwheel linens from Kate Ryan Linens.  The wedding cake from Cakes by Carolynn had ribbon and gems.  Congratulations to a wonderful couple and their family.  Jason said they were all so nice and welcoming.  We hope their time here in Florida was amazing!

Wedding at the Grand Plaza: Lindsey and Anthony

Jason loves weddings at the Grand Plaza Beachfront Resort!  Lindsey and Anthony came from Michigan for their wedding on the beach there.  Jason said he wished that Lindsey and Anthony lived nearby because they are the type of people he’d love to hang out with after the wedding.  They were a blast to be around!  During wedding planning Lindsey and Anthony mentioned that they might jump in the pool at the end of the night.  Other couples have said this and changed their minds on the day of but Lindsey and Anthony made sure to remind Jason that night and they ended their wedding with a splash!  They are not only really fun people but also super nice.  Jason was so happy to share their day with them.

The couple’s other vendors included Karen of Karen’s Hair and Makeup Artistry for hair and makeup, the wonderful Rose Garden Florist for the flowers, Pastor Dean Ryder as the officiant, Joe of Expert Productions as the DJ, and a beach wedding themed cake made by Cakes by Carolynn.

Congratulations to Lindsey and Anthony!  Thank you so much for having Jason share your wedding day with you.  You are an awesome couple and we hope the happiness and fun of your wedding continues throughout your marriage!

Wedding at East Lake Woodlands Country Club: Hilary and Derek

Jason photographed Hilary and Derek’s engagement session and they were such a pretty couple that Jason knew they would look amazing on their wedding day!  They were married at the East Lake Woodlands Country Club.  The talented Cari of Kylelynn Weddings was there for Hilary’s hair.  The wedding had a fall theme with many of the flowers from Events in Bloom in shades of orange.  The officiant was Pastor Dean Ryder and at the reception the DJ was Frank Lebano and the cake was made by Sweet Caroline’s Bakery.

Thanks to Hilary and Derek for having Jason share in the celebration of you starting your lives together!  Congratulations to the happy couple and many blessings for a wonderful life as husband and wife!

A La Carte Pavilion Wedding: Michelle and Kyle

Michelle and Kyle were so sweet with each other at their engagement session so dad knew their wedding day would be filled with emotion and love.  Michelle got ready at the Renaissance Tampa Hotel International Plaza and had her hair and makeup done by the Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group.  The ceremony and reception was held at the A La Carte Pavilion.  It was a beautiful ceremony officiated by Pastor Dean Ryder.  Dad said you could tell that Michelle and Kyle barely noticed anything but each other as they exchanged their vows and became husband and wife.  The flowers were from Bloomsters Floral and DJ Boone from Boone’s Professional DJ Service had the guests dancing at the reception.  Well, the DJ and the bottle of Goldschlager had everyone dancing!

Congratulations Michelle and Kyle, and thanks for having dad as part of your wedding day!
