Jason photographed Lauren and Thomas’s wedding last October and it has been wonderful getting to know them!  Earlier this month I had a Pickles and Ice Cream Party for some of the past brides Jason has photographed who are now expecting.  We are lucky enough to keep in touch with many of our past couples (I love that!) and there are quite a few who are pregnant!  It was fun getting together to talk pregnancy and labor and kids.  Two other expecting moms had to leave before Jason took this picture but here we are at the get together.

Lauren was due about a week and a half after the party but the ice cream must have gotten her baby going because later that night her water broke!  Her son was born the next day.

We were excited to meet Lauren and Thomas’s baby and they brought him over for a newborn session when he was 6 days old.  At first he seemed to be irritated by the camera (I’m sorry but I cannot resist sharing that picture!) but soon he was fast asleep and stayed that way most of the session.  He was such a good baby.  Lauren and Thomas are dedicated and loving parents and it was wonderful to see them with their son as a family.  We are so happy for them and we can’t wait to see them again, hopefully soon!

It is really special for us when our past wedding couples invite us back into their lives to capture more of their most important moments.  Jason photographed the wedding of Melissa and James two and a half years ago.  They just had a baby boy and brought him over for a newborn session with Jason.  They brought baby blankets that each of them had from when they were babies themselves!  Congratulations on your beautiful new blessing Melissa and James!

Kristen and Chris are a terrific couple and it has been so awesome to see their lives change as time has gone on.  Jason has photographed their engagement session, wedding, maternity session, and they just brought their newborn son over for pictures.  What an honor for us to be part of these special moments and capture their memories!  Thanks to Kristen and Chris for having us share in your lives and we can’t wait to see your little boy grow!

Jason had a terrific time photographing a maternity session with Jacky and Benjamin.  They are such fun people and Jason felt like he was just hanging out with friends when he was with them.  They surprised us when they emailed to set up their son’s newborn session because we weren’t expecting to hear from them so soon!  Their little boy arrived three weeks early and Jacky says it is because of how hard she was laughing when she went to the movies to see Hangover 2.  It was great seeing them and meeting their adorable baby boy.  Congratulations Jacky and Benjamin!
