Wedding at the Don Vicente de Ybor: Emina and Anthony

Emina and Anthony had a beautiful vintage style wedding at the Don Vicente de Ybor.  Anthony looked stylish in his classic tuxedo and bowtie.  Emina was an absolutely beautiful bride!  Mom loved her bird cage veil fastened with a flower and feather.  For dancing at the reception, Emina changed from her wedding gown into a one-shoulder shimmery white dress.

Emina and Anthony had a First Sight before the ceremony.  It was really sweet to see them smile and embrace and take in the moment.  They did their family and wedding party pictures before the ceremony and afterward they were able to enjoy time alone together for their bride and groom pictures.  To go with the vintage look of the wedding the couple had a classic car to use in their images.  Dad got a few more bride and groom pictures on the streets of Ybor after dark when Emina was in her party dress.

The couple’s team of vendors included Georgia Watson of Weddings by Georgia as the coordinator, hair and makeup from the Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group, Trinity Wedding Video as the videographer, flowers from Whole Foods, Robert from A Perfect Witness as the officiant, linens from Connie Duglin,  DJ Eladio from Delite Entertainment, and the wedding cake from Publix Greenwise.

Congratulations to Emina and Anthony!  We hope you are having an amazing time honeymooning in Europe!

A La Carte Pavilion Wedding: Michelle and Kyle

Michelle and Kyle were so sweet with each other at their engagement session so dad knew their wedding day would be filled with emotion and love.  Michelle got ready at the Renaissance Tampa Hotel International Plaza and had her hair and makeup done by the Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group.  The ceremony and reception was held at the A La Carte Pavilion.  It was a beautiful ceremony officiated by Pastor Dean Ryder.  Dad said you could tell that Michelle and Kyle barely noticed anything but each other as they exchanged their vows and became husband and wife.  The flowers were from Bloomsters Floral and DJ Boone from Boone’s Professional DJ Service had the guests dancing at the reception.  Well, the DJ and the bottle of Goldschlager had everyone dancing!

Congratulations Michelle and Kyle, and thanks for having dad as part of your wedding day!

Wedding at the Don Vicente de Ybor: Linley and Douglas

Linley and Douglas’s wedding was gorgeous.  The details all looked amazing together!  They had bright blues and greens and purples as the colors with peacock feather details in the same colors.  Feathers were on everything from the tables to the seating chart to the mini cupcake display.  There were gold bird cages with candles inside and of course peacocks on top to go with the peacock feathers.  The gold bird cages were accented by the gold table settings placed on bright blue and green linens.  Many of the flowers were orchids, including mini orchids which hung alongside crystals from tree branch centerpieces which served as table numbers as well.  Not only did the details and decor look terrific, but of course the bride and groom did as well! Linley was truly stunning in her lace covered gown, bird cage veil, and vintage inspired hair and makeup done by the Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group.  The Don Vicente de Ybor Historic Inn was a great setting for this romantic and vintage themed wedding.

Congratulations to Linley and Douglas on a beautiful wedding day and what is sure to be a beautiful life together!

Mail and Ads and Blogs: Our Pictures Put to Use!

Mom Blogging:

I love seeing our images put to use.  In the mail the other day we received Caroline and David’s Save the Date card.  They are such a sweet couple and we loved the picture they chose from their engagement session!  It shows what a cute couple they are and how happy they are to be in love.  We’ve been hearing some of the planning details from Caroline’s wonderful mom and it is going to be an amazing wedding!

Also in the mail we received a thank you card from newlyweds Marisol and Neil.  It had a pretty flower cut out on the front:

and a nice message to Jason thanking him for photographing their wedding on the inside:

Elissa and Rick were also just married and are a terrific couple.  I got to meet them at our Christmas party and they were great people.  After seeing their images they wrote:

Jason,

Thank you so much for the amazing job you did at our wedding!  Everyone (including us) was amazed at you being everywhere!  The pictures are great – I think you got a pic of everyone who was there!  Now the hard part is picking out which pictures we want:)  Thank you also for the Christmas party invite – it was great to meet your family!  You are great at what you do.  Thank you.

Elissa and Rick

It was also fun for us to see two of our pictures in Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group‘s ad in the Perfect Wedding Guide (on the right):

Wedding blogs are a great place to get ideas for your own wedding planning.  Brenda’s Wedding Blog is a great one with daily updates and lots of pictures.  We are honored that she shared a ring pictures from Stephanie and Nick’s wedding on her “Ringing in the New Year” blog post!

Seeing our pictures put to great uses, getting these terrific thank you cards…2010 is starting off wonderfully!

Liza and Donald’s Wedding at the A La Carte Pavilion

Liza and Donny are an awesome couple and we are happy to finally be able to share images from their wedding!  Mom has been able to talk with Liza over emails and thinks she is wonderful.  The newlyweds are on a long honeymoon enjoying Australia and New Zealand, if they survived the jump on the Nevis Arch, the biggest bungee swing in the world!  The last we heard from them was when they were on their way there…

Their wedding ceremony was at the Pass-A-Grille Beach Community Church and the reception followed at the A La Carte Event Pavilion.  Scott from Starstruck Video was the videographer, DJ Robb of Robb Smith Productions was, you guessed it, the DJ, and Chef Michael of Let Them Eat Cake made the cake.

Liza was so much fun!  If she wasn’t posing silly with her bridesmaids she was breaking it down on the dance floor.  Liza and Donny are so sweet together and look at each other with the future in their eyes.  Their beautiful ceremony included many Filipino wedding traditions such as the veil, cord, and coin exchange.  At the end of the ceremony there was a dove release as well.

Liza and Donny are going to have a wonderful life together.  Thanks for having dad there at the start of it!
