Leslie-Anne and Jeffrey’s Wedding in Oldsmar

Leslie-Anne and Jeffrey were married at a private residence in Oldsmar.  Leslie-Anne had her hair and makeup done by Michele Renee and Taylor Dobson of Highlight Studios was the videographer.  Jeff from Grant Hemond joined the couple at the reception as the DJ.  Jason had photographed Jeffrey’s sister’s wedding and it was awesome seeing their family again!  There were so many guests that Jason knew from past weddings and they made him feel like another guest and not just a “vendor.”  Leslie-Anne and Jeffrey were lots of fun and everyone had a blast celebrating at their wedding!  Congratulations to the newlyweds, and we hope you had fun in Georgia for your honeymoon!

Wedding at the Palmetto Club: Amanda and Eric

Jason loves photographing weddings for the family members of his other couples, especially when they have a really terrific family!  Jason loved being part of Jennifer and Trae’s wedding almost three years ago and he was thrilled when Jennifer’s sister Amanda got in touch with him about her own wedding!

Jason had a great time with Amanda and Eric at their engagement session and they had a beautiful wedding day.  The ceremony was held at the First United Methodist Church of Brandon and the reception was at the Palmetto Club.  The wedding colors were black and white with red and Moate’s Florist put together the floral arrangements including Amanda’s stunning bouquet!  Amanda was a gorgeous bride and looked so elegant and timeless in her bridal updo and beautiful gown.  Eric wore a classic black tux but he had fun with his outfit later in the day when he changed into Gator colors with an orange tie and bright blue vest.  The Gator vs ‘Noles rivalry was something the couple had fun with in details at the reception:).  The reception was catered by Catering by the Family and the wedding cake came from Cafe and Bakery.  The DJ was from Grant Hemond.

It was wonderful for Jason to see Amanda and Jennifer’s family again and all of the family and friends of Amanda and Eric that were there to celebrate the wedding were really fun and friendly people.  Jason also got to see Jackie and Brett whose wedding Jason photographed earlier this year!  It was a terrific day for an awesome couple surrounded by their friends and family.  Thank you to Amanda and Eric for having Jason there to celebrate with you and capture your day!

Wedding at the Embassy Suites Tampa: Lisa and Adam

Mom had so much fun talking with Lisa as she planned for her wedding and she was so excited when the big day arrived!  Dad joined Lisa and Adam for their wedding at the Embassy Suites Tampa.  Lisa had her hair and makeup done by Michele Renee of the Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group.  The wedding colors were black and pink and FishHawk Weddings put together beautiful pink bouquets and floral arrangements.  Mom’s favorite flowers were the branch filled vases at the ceremony with pink flowers on top and tall branches coming out of the flowers.  Bridesmaids wore black dresses with pink sashes and pink necklaces and they carried pink bouquets.  Lisa and Adam had their first sight before the ceremony and were able to do most of their pictures early in the day.  It was sweet to see how incredibly happy they were!  Lisa could not stop smiling and laughing.

At the reception the wonderful Rob Sword of Sword Sounds was the DJ and the cake was from Publix Greenwise in Tampa.  It was a fun celebration with a packed dance floor.  Guests also had fun dressing up in the props for the photo booth that Lisa and Adam had there.  Congratulations to the newlyweds on a beautiful and fun wedding and we hope all the laughter and joy of your day lasts throughout your marriage.  Thanks Lisa and Adam, and stay in touch!

Davis Islands Garden Club Wedding: Carrie and Lee

Carrie and Lee were married on the most popular wedding date of the year, 10-10-10!  Dad photographed their engagement session just a month before their wedding and he was looking forward to seeing them again.  In China, the number 10 implies the Chinese idiom “perfection in everything” so getting married on 10-10-10 is thought to bring a couple a perfect marriage.  Carrie and Lee included many Chinese customs in their wedding day. They were married at the Davis Islands Garden Club.  Carrie started the day with the Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group for hair and makeup.  Carrie was a gorgeous bride!  Her gown, shoes, and especially her long veil were all stunning.  Lee’s cousin got the beautiful orchids from Everlast, Inc and other wedding flowers were done by Debbie of The Bride’s Bouquet.

The couple had a first sight before the ceremony to be sure to have time for some fun and creative pictures.  They had their three dogs there in gowns and tuxes which dad thought was really cute.  The dogs also came down the aisle with the bridesmaids during the ceremony processional.  One of the bridesmaids was Liza whose wedding dad photographed last December.  Liza and Donald are such a fun couple and dad enjoyed seeing them both again.

At the reception, Phillip of Fast Break Entertainment was the DJ and the cake was made by Cigar City Cakes.  Carrie changed into a traditional Chinese wedding dress during the reception and dad took her and Lee outside for some night pictures.  As the reception came to an end Carrie changed once more into a cute white dress and the newlyweds left through a sparkler departure.  After the send off they grabbed their wedding party and had some fun with the sparklers before calling it a night.

Congratulations Carrie and Lee!  Everything came together so well to make a terrific wedding day.  We hope the Chinese idiom for your wedding date holds true for your marriage!

Wedding at the Gulfport Casino: Caitlin and Joshua

Caitie and Josh are one of those couples that you spend five minutes with and know they were meant to be together.  Dad had a great time photographing their wedding with the ceremony at St. Jude Cathedral and the reception at the Gulfport Casino.  Caitie had Michele Renee of the Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group for her makeup.  Caitie’s aunt, Beth Plant, works at Zac’s Hair Design Studio & Spa and did Caitie’s hair.  The ceremony was beautiful and you could see how happy the couple was every time you looked at them.  The reception had Carefree Catering for the food and the cake was made by Chef Nelson Cake Studio.  The always terrific Rob Sword of Sword Sounds was the DJ and he made sure everyone had a fun time.

Congratulations newlyweds!  We hope you the happiness of your wedding day lasts for all your days together.
