It was wonderful to see all the ways that the couple personalized their wedding to reflect their personalities.  There were Gator details including the garter, a cookie cake, and orange and blue streamers on the get away car.  I am a bit juvenile, I know, but I giggled a little at the letters on the head table of the couple’s monogram, THC .  Before Caitlin and Tim were introduced at the reception, a “referee” came in with a whistle holding a “2 Bits” sign.  The first dance started off like a traditional bride and groom dance and then the couple broke out into some fun dance moves!  The fun dancing continued throughout the night.  Guests at the wedding including people from the bride’s sorority and groom’s fraternity and both groups did their chants during the reception.  I absolutely loved the quote that they had decorating the wall.  It said, “Today two friends become one family.”  It was similar to a quote Jason and I used at our own wedding and it reminded me of the two of us as well!  It is so special when the person you love and will spend the rest of your life with is your best friend as well and it is obvious that Caitlin and Tim share that too.  We hope your friendship continues to grow stronger as you start your lives together now as a family!

Jessica and Chris had a team of wonderful vendors.  Julissa from Beauty Brought Out was there for Jessica’s hair and makeup, the videographer was Brian from Fish Hook Entertainment and dad was happy to work with him again, the florist was Flowers by Fudgie, and Wayne DeLair of DeLair Entertainment was the DJ.  Dad says Wayne is a kind person and does a great job too.

Jessica is one of those brides who is stunningly beautiful and is also a  beautiful person.  She is incredibly nice and her smile makes everyone around her happy.  Together her and Chris are just terrific and dad was really happy that he got to be a part of their wedding day.  Thank you both so much, and we hope the fun and laughter of your wedding day only grows in your marriage!

The ceremony was in the courtyard and Amanda and Caton had John Melchinger from A Perfect Witness as their officiant.  Mom absolutely loved the orange color that the couple used throughout the wedding.  The bridesmaids’ orange dresses were really cute and the flower girls wore white with orange sashes.  The other details such as the chair bows, menus, and favor boxes brought together the orange theme very well.  RJ Vida of Advance Entertainment Productions was the DJ for the reception and kept Amanda on the dance floor most of the night.

Dad said Amanda was lots of fun!  Both Amanda and Caton are great people and have wonderful families.  Dad enjoyed being there to capture these memories for them.  Now if only the newlyweds would have decided to fly dad to Italy to document their honeymoon trip too!!
