Our Easter Sunday Celebration: “He is not here: for he is risen, as he said.”

He is risen!  Our family had a wonderful time celebrating Easter!  I’ve already shared the news of the gender reveal we did on Easter.  That was just part of the fun we had with family and close friends on Easter!  Here are more pictures of our day, from finding Easter baskets to our egg hunt, and yummy Easter dinner and desserts.  Aren’t our kids gorgeous?!  I love them so much.  Hope everyone had a very blessed Easter!

Our Easter Gender Reveal

Our family had an amazing Easter!  Not only did we get to celebrate this blessed holiday with family and close friends, but Jason and I were also excited to share the news of our gender ultrasound on Easter as well!  We had everyone guess whether baby was a boy or a girl by choosing a blue or a pink egg and putting it in an Easter basket.  Then we gave out “He or She, what will baby be?” silly string cans to the kids (and to some adults who helped the kids spray).  We told them if the baby was a boy the silly string would be blue and if the baby was a girl the silly string would be pink.  I think the kids were a bit distracted by trying to press the button to get the silly string to spray out, but they finally noticed the color and everyone was excited!  Check out the pictures of the gender reveal for our big news!

My Valentines

I have the best valentines!  My husband is awesome, and my other valentines are all super cute!

It can be a challenge to get all the kids together in one picture.  Let’s try this again:

My newest valentine this year!  Love before first sight:)!  Jason and I are so happy to announce that we are currently 13 weeks along with #5!  GOD IS GOOD!

Here’s to a Healthier 2013!

I planned on doing a Year in Review with a Facebook album of pictures of our 2012 weddings and sessions. Instead the boys and I were horribly sick with fevers over 103 and a bad stomach flu.  We are still sick from our trip too.  My pink eye still isn’t gone, and it sounds like our cough/colds are quickly becoming bronchitis, especially for Jason.

I did manage to make a collage the night before I got sick!  Last year we did a collage of all of our 2011 newborns, so I thought it would be fun to see the difference a year makes with a collage of our 2012 first birthdays!

After Jason photographed his last wedding of 2012 on the last day of 2012, he came home to take care of us.  We were all awake for midnight, though we were laying in bed and miserable.  Instead of toasts and noisemakers, we had jello and crushed ice.  I give Jason credit for his “you haven’t puked since last year” jokes to try to celebrate the new year in some way.

I cannot thank my mom enough for her help yesterday. I could barely move and she rescheduled her procedure at the hospital to be there to watch the girls and take care of the boys and I as we spent the day in bed with a bucket. If I can find one good thing to say about the end of 2012, it is the reminder of how blessed I am to have my family.

I am definitely not feeling great today and I’m headed back to bed.  Sorry for the wait on editing and emails – just when I think we are on the mend, this thing morphs and gets even worse. I’ll be back to work as soon as I am able.

Christmas Blessings to All of You!

We’re On Vacation!

We’re on vacation until just before the new year. Can you tell we needed it?

We’ll have limited internet access and will reply to emails and process orders when we return.

Thank you so much to everyone who has made 2012 such an amazing year.  We are truly blessed and incredibly grateful!  Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
