Wedding at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay: Jera and Luke

After handstands and knot tying at their engagement session Jason was excited for Jera and Luke’s wedding!  They were married at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay with a ceremony overlooking the water.  Jera was such a beautiful bride!  She had her hair and makeup done by Joe from Belanova Salon.  The flowers were from Whole Foods and the delicious reception food came from Armani’s in the Grand Hyatt.

Jera and Luke are a loving and easy-going couple.  It was a very windy day and Jera’s veil was blowing around in the wind.  During the bride and groom pictures out on a pier a big gust of wind came and took Jera’s veil right off!  It landed in the water and quickly sunk before they could grab it.  Jera did not let it bother her one bit!  She turned back to the camera and was smiling for pictures right after.  What a wonderful couple!

Congratulations to the bride and groom, and we hope you had a fabulous honeymoon at St. Lucia!

Wedding at the Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church and the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay: Kandy and Charles

Kandy and Charles were married at the Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church and they had their reception at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay.  Kandy got ready with a hair stylist and makeup artist from the Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group.  The flowers came from Jones Creations in PA.  At the reception the DJ was from Impulse Entertainment and the cake was made by Laurie  of A Piece of Cake.

The bride and groom had a first sight before the ceremony which made it easier to get all of their family pictures early in the day.  They had a fun time with their family and friends celebrating their marriage!  Kandy and Charles were headed to the mountains for their honeymoon.  We hope they had a terrific time and stayed warm up there!  Congratulations newlyweds!

Lindsay and Scott are Married!

Memorial Day weekend is a busy weekend of weddings for us!  Starting dad off on Friday was Lindsay and Scott’s wedding.  Dad met them at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay where the couple got ready.  They were able to do many of their separate group pictures there before heading to the wedding.

After a drought, it is great that we have been getting so much rain lately.  However, it isn’t so great for a wedding day.  The couple was going to have their ceremony outside at the Rusty Pelican but had to move the ceremony inside due to the weather.  When it looked like the rain was going to hold off, the ceremony was moved back outside again.  The rain started and the decision was made to go inside, but when it passed things were moved back outside again and the couple was able to have their ceremony outside after all!  Frank Lebano was the DJ for the wedding and was great about moving his equipment around when the location was changed.  The rain did hold off and Lindsay and Scott had their pictures outside after the ceremony as well.

One of dad’s favorite parts of the day was when Scott first saw Lindsay during the ceremony.  He started crying and couldn’t help but say out loud how beautiful Lindsay looked.  It was a really special and touching moment.

Dad was able to talk with Scott’s mom before the wedding and wanted to be sure to thank her for all her help in getting details planned.  And of course thanks to the wonderful couple, Lindsay and Scott!  Have a terrific honeymoon.
