Elena’s Maternity Session at Fort Desoto

Jason first photographed Elena and her family in 2006.  Her daughter was just one at the time.  Elena shared the exciting news that she is expecting again and Jason met with her and her family at Fort Desoto for a maternity session!  Their daughter was adorable and Jason had a lot of fun with her.  She is going to be a wonderful big sister!  Congratulations to Elena and we can’t wait to meet your new addition for her session in a few months!

Family Session at the Beach: Christa, Michael, and Their Beautiful Little Girl

Jason photographed Christa and Michael’s wedding five years ago and he was really happy to see them again and meet their little girl for a family session at the beach!  It was an awesome session.  Christa and Michael just wanted to hang out and enjoy some family time with Jason in the capturing the fun.  It was a laid back session with lots of laughter and love.  Christa and Michael’s little girl is absolutely gorgeous!  Whether she was smiling at the camera or looking serious she photographed beautifully.  It was obvious from spending time with them that Christa and Michael are awesome parents.  Thanks so much for Christa and Michael for having Jason with you again to capture more memories!  You are wonderful people and we are happy that we are able to be part of your lives.  Hope to see you again next time you are in FL for a visit!

Session at Fort Desoto: Nichole is Back in the Dress

Nichole and Rizal have to hurry and start trying for babies because dad is going to miss them if they don’t have a reason to have another session soon!  Dad has photographed their engagement session, Nichole’s gorgeous bridal portraits, and their beach wedding.  He met them at Fort Desoto last week for their Back in the Dress session.  These are sometimes called Trash the Dress sessions but out of them that dad has photographed the only session that actual trashed their dress so that it couldn’t be later cleaned and preserved was from a paintball session!

The newlyweds brought their two dogs with them for some pictures.  We are animal lovers and it was fun for dad to get some pictures of their dogs playing at the beach too.  The session ended with the couple splashing around in the water having fun and enjoying their time together.  Those pictures are some of mom’s favorites because their smiles really show what newlywed bliss looks like.  We hope they have those same genuine happy smiles for each other throughout their marriage!

We loved sharing in Nichole and Rizal’s memories.  They are a terrific couple and dad enjoyed all the time he spent with them.  Nichole and Rizal, we will be waiting patiently to photograph the maternity session!

Tampa Bay Watch Wedding: Lauren and Nick

Lauren and Nick included so many awesome details for their wedding day!  They made sure that their day was a lot of fun not just for them but for their guests as well.  They were married at St. Paul’s Catholic Church and had their reception at Tampa Bay Watch.  Lauren had Cari from Kyle Lynn with her for hair and makeup and she looked beautiful.  The wonderful Ian from Movie Magic Productions was there as the videographer.  After the ceremony the bride and groom and their wedding party went to Fort Desoto for pictures before joining their guests at the reception.  The guests were kept entertained with corn hole, bocce ball, horseshoes, and filling out the advice cards for the couple which worked like a game of Madlibs.  The wedding colors were yellow and blue which mom loves!  The Gators were well represented as well with Gator cuff links, a Gator ring pillow, and of course the Gator chomp.  Tables had vintage postcards from different Florida cities and there was a wooden directional sign showing the mileage from the wedding to other sites in Florida as well.  One of mom’s favorite details was the Smores bar at the reception.  There was chocolate, marshmallows, graham crackers, and a quote from the movie The Sandlot explaining how to make a Smore.  There was also ice cream and ice cream cones and when dad saw someone make a Coke float he wanted to find some root beer to join him!

Lauren and Nick, you did a terrific job putting together the details to make a gorgeous and fun wedding.  Congratulations to you both!

Maternity Session at Fort DeSoto: Nicole

Nicole and Dustin will soon welcome a baby into their family!  They met dad at Fort DeSoto for Nicole’s maternity session.  They are so excited to meet their little one and the session was filled with love and smiles.  The lighting as the sun went down was gorgeous!  Dad can’t wait to meet the baby in a couple months.  Nicole and Dustin, good luck to you as you get ready to meet your little one!
