Wedding at the Lange Farm: Emily and Joshua

Emily and Josh were married at the Lange Farm in Dade City.  They had a beautiful autumn wedding with browns, oranges, reds, and yellows as the fall colors.  Irene of For Better for Less was the florist and at the reception the vendors were Amici’s Catering,  Laurie from A Piece of Cake, and Sean of Sword Sounds.

The couple had bride and groom pictures after their ceremony and then did a few more at the end of the night when the reception ended.  Jason likes having the time to get the bride and groom more variety to their pictures!  I think it is a wonderful thing when a couple makes their faith an important part of their wedding day.  Josh took a moment to stand with his groomsmen and pray before the ceremony.  We wish the couple many blessings in their life together as husband and wife.  Congratulations to a wonderful couple!

Wedding at Sacred Heart and the Rusty Pelican: Nicole and David

Nicole and David were married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with their reception following at the Rusty Pelican.  The couple had a wonderful team of vendors including Darla Stafford for hair and makeup, Ian of Movie Magic Productions for videography, Irene of For Better For Less as the florist, a cake from Chantilly Cakes, and Ben from Grant Hemond as the DJ.  After their ceremony and pictures in the church, the bride and groom and their wedding party went to downtown Tampa for some pictures before joining their reception.  Jason had a great time at the wedding and said the day went wonderfully.  Congratulations to the newlyweds, and thanks for having us there to capture your wedding day memories!

Wedding at the Grand Plaza: Jennifer and Gregg

Jennifer and Gregg are a laid back and easy going couple.  They were married at the always wonderful Grand Plaza Beach Resort and had their close family and friends with them to celebrate.  Jennifer had her hair and makeup done by Tiffany of the Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group.  Her gown was perfect for a beach wedding!  It was just below the knee in the front but still had a pretty train in the back.  The talented Irene of For Better For Less put together yellow and pink floral arrangements to go with the wedding colors.  The flower girls wore yellow dresses with pink sashes and edges and the bridesmaids had dark pink dresses with yellow on them.  They all looked beautiful!  The officiant was Mary of Marry Me Mary and at the reception the DJ was Joe Lorenzo of Expert Productions.  The wedding cake from Cakes by Carolynn was decorated with flowers and beach details.

The couple had a first sight before their ceremony and then they were married in the Presidential Ballroom where their reception was held as well.  They went out for bride and groom pictures at sunset and when they returned to the reception it was great to see some of the events that made the day more personal.  The bride had a jersey that was half Steelers and half Dolphins.  It said “Mrs. Steeler” on the back.  The groom also had a half and half jersey with “Mr. Dolphin” on the back.  For the bouquet toss Jennifer threw a pom pom in the colors of the Steelers instead of a bouquet.  It is great to see couples make their wedding day reflect their interests and personalities!  Congratulations to Mrs. Steeler and Mr. Dolphin!

Wedding at the Lange Farm: Caitlin and Tim

Caitlin and Tim were married at the First United Methodist Church of Zephyrhills and had their reception at the beautiful Lange Farm in Dade City.  They had a terrific team of vendors including Julissa of Beauty Brought Out for hair and makeup, Irene of For Better For Less for flowers, catering by Hungry Harry’s Bar-B-Que, Doug Decker from Grant Hemond as the DJ, and a cake from Chef Nelson’s Cake Studio.

It was wonderful to see all the ways that the couple personalized their wedding to reflect their personalities.  There were Gator details including the garter, a cookie cake, and orange and blue streamers on the get away car.  I am a bit juvenile, I know, but I giggled a little at the letters on the head table of the couple’s monogram, THC:).  Before Caitlin and Tim were introduced at the reception, a “referee” came in with a whistle holding a “2 Bits” sign.  The first dance started off like a traditional bride and groom dance and then the couple broke out into some fun dance moves!  The fun dancing continued throughout the night.  Guests at the wedding including people from the bride’s sorority and groom’s fraternity and both groups did their chants during the reception.  I absolutely loved the quote that they had decorating the wall.  It said, “Today two friends become one family.”  It was similar to a quote Jason and I used at our own wedding and it reminded me of the two of us as well!  It is so special when the person you love and will spend the rest of your life with is your best friend as well and it is obvious that Caitlin and Tim share that too.  We hope your friendship continues to grow stronger as you start your lives together now as a family!

Wedding at the Clearwater Beach Recreation Center: Amanda and William

Amanda and Kyle are such a terrific couple!  Jason photographed their engagement session last fall and had a wonderful time celebrating their wedding with them as well!  Not only are Amanda and Kyle really nice people and fun to be around but their friends and family are great too.

Amanda started the day getting her hair and makeup done by Vanessa from Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group.  The wedding was at the Clearwater Beach Recreation Center with George from A Notary on the Go as the officiant.  The couple exchanged vows under an archway of colorful tropical flowers.  The talented Irene of For Better For Less was the florist for the wedding.  After the ceremony Amanda and Kyle went onto the beach for pictures before joining their guests at the reception.  The food was from Catering by Robert and the beach themed cake was made by Chef Nelson’s Cake Studio.  Tony from Grant Hemond was the DJ for the reception.

Jason came home from the wedding with lots of funny notes from Amanda and Kyle’s flower girl:).  I laughed at the one asking him why he says “Awesome” so much because that is so true about him!  Amanda and Kyle, congratulations on your AWESOME wedding!
