Sabrina and Rustie’s Wedding at the Don Vicente

In January dad photographed Sabrina and Rustie’s engagement session in Tampa.  They had a beautiful wedding on Saturday at the Don Vicente de Ybor.  The couple had Staci of Unique Event Design as their coordinator and she did a great job pulling everything together.  Hair and makeup was done by Wilson of Shear Artist, the florist was Forever Flowers, and at the reception linens were from Connie Duglin and the cake was made by Chef Michael of Let Them Eat Cake.

Sabrina’s shoes were gorgeous and dad thought it was a fun coincidence that the bride from the wedding the day before had the same shoes but in a different color.  It was also dad’s second day in a row working with Ben from Grant Hemond and he did a great job again.

Sabrina and Rustie are an awesome couple and dad had a terrific time at their wedding.  Their friends and family were a blast to hang out with, and the newlyweds were lots of fun as well!  Dad was so happy to be a part of their day.  Thanks Sabrina and Rustie!  Enjoy Mexico!

Jessica and Aaron at the Don Vicente de Ybor

Jessica and Aaron were married on Saturday at the Don Vicente de Ybor, a beautiful historic inn.  Dad got to work with Jessica and Lori of Simply Divine Events.  They were the wedding coordinators and dad said they were great to work with.  Before the ceremony, Jessica and Aaron had a first sight. It is great when couples have that moment by themselves and can really take in the moment.  It makes it so special.  It also let Jessica and Aaron have more time for bride and groom images!  At the ceremony, the couple included their children by giving them each a family medallion necklace.  One of dad’s favorite moments of the day was when the groom’s young son gave his toast.  He said that when he first met Jessica, he told his dad, “Boy, you sure are lucky.”  What a sweet toast!  John from DJ Perfections was the DJ at the reception and the guests had fun dancing with the tambourines John handed out.  Chocolate π made the cake and it was decorated with beautiful swirl details.

The newlyweds are headed to Hawaii for their honeymoon.  Have a great time!

Jessica and Troy at the Don Vicente de Ybor

On Friday dad joined Jessica and Troy at the Don Vicente de Ybor Historic Inn to celebrate their wedding.  Close friends and family were there to share their day, including a group of super cute babies and kids!  The bride and groom’s son was so adorable, starting the day off with a nap so he’d be ready to party later:).  Jessica had Michele Renee from the Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group there to help her get ready that morning.  The wedding colors were black and red and Jessica had a black ribbon around her dress along with black shoes to complete the look.

After the ceremony, dad did the group pictures on the streets of Ybor.  The streets and buildings make a nice background.  During their reception, Jessica and Troy went outside with dad for a few more pictures on the streets at night as well.  A Piece of Cake made a yummy looking white cake with chocolate spilling down each of the three layers.  Red roses and a rhinestone initial decorated the cake.  To decorate the reception tables, a glass vase holding a candle and lots of red roses sat on a shimmery white table runner which was over the black linens.

Congratulations newlyweds!  Thanks for a great day!

Kendra and Brandon at the Don Vicente

Kendra and Brandon were married last Saturday in Tampa.  Their ceremony was held at the Ybor City Museum with the reception at the Don Vicente de Ybor Historic Inn.  With Kendra’s mantilla veil and lace covered dress, Brandon’s classic tux, the candlelight, and the historic locations as a backdrop, the entire wedding had a very romantic almost old-world feel.

Dad got to work with Dream Day Productions for the second week in a row.  They did a great job helping the day run smoothly and dad is excited to see them again this weekend!  Chuck from Hearts Video was the videographer.  Dad was glad to work with him again.  Julissa Mercado from Beauty Brought Out was the stylist (Kendra looked gorgeous!) and Frank Lebano was the DJ at the reception.

At the engagement session, dad was able to meet the couple’s adorable daughter.  He was surprised at how much older she looked since then!  Mom loved that Kendra and Brandon included her in the ceremony and other parts of the day.  She was so excited about the whole wedding.

Kendra and Brandon are a down to earth couple and grounded in love.  We know they have a wonderful future ahead of them.  Congratulations!

Brandon had a tutorial on tying a bow tie…

…but it didn’t seem to help:)

WOW!  Kendra is stunning!

Kira and Peter at the Don Vicente

Kira stopped by our house a few days before her wedding and mom was amazed at how relaxed she was as she talked about plans for the wedding day. Dad said Kira and Peter were awesome at their engagement session as well and were up for everything dad suggested.

The wedding was on Saturday at the Don Vicente in Tampa. Dad got to work with Holliday with Plan-It! Events and said she was very helpful and organized. The DJ for the reception was Rob Sword who dad had worked with the day before as well!

When mom looked at Kira’s pictures, she got bridal envy. She loved Kira’s dress, jewelry, hair, rings…everything was so beautiful! It was really sweet that Kira’s mom was either laughing or crying throughout the day. Mom says that she is going to be just like that for our weddings!

The reception was candlelit and guests enjoyed their dinners at long tables covered in chocolate brown linens. After dinner, the dance floor was packed all night! It was a gorgeous wedding and we thank Kira and Peter for having dad there to capture it for them.

Allison Baylor (allisonbaylor@aol.com) did a wonderful job with the couple’s cake!

As the reception was ending, dad took the couple out to the streets and then back to the brick wall for a different take on their earlier pictures there.

Congratulations Kira and Peter!
