Wedding at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center: Franchesca and Ian

Franchesca and Ian were very stylish at their vintage inspired engagement session.  Jason knew they were going to look amazing on their wedding day!  They were married at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center and had Joquetta of No. 1 Wedding Planner as their coordinator.  Franchesca had her hair and makeup done by stylists from Destiny and Light Hair and Makeup.  The wedding colors were purple and pink and the flowers matched the colors with lots of roses, orchids, and hydrangea.  Arlene Floral Designer was the florist.  The caterer at the reception was Delectables Catering and the cake was made by Chef Nelson’s Cake Studio.

Though it was raining outside it was a beautiful wedding inside!  The details and decor were gorgeous.  There was fabric draping the ceiling and walls, lots of pillars with flowers on top, hanging crystals and chandeliers, pretty linens, and at the reception there was lots of candlelight as well as pink and purple uplighting.  Congratulations to Franchesca and Ian on their wedding and their marriage!  It is said that rain on a wedding day is good luck for a marriage so you two are destined for a happy life together!

Wedding at the Clearwater Beach Recreation Center: Jennifer and Kristofer

Jen and Kris are awesome!  Dad was with them as they celebrated their wedding at the Clearwater Beach Recreation Center.  They are a really fun couple and really kindhearted as well.  The bride and groom put together a terrific team of vendors for their day!  Tammy Waterman of Special Moments was the wonderful wedding planner.  The incredible Darla Stafford was there for hair and makeup.  Rob Sword of Sword Sounds shared his talent as both the officiant and the DJ.  Carter’s Florist put together the colorful red and orange and yellow and green floral arrangements.  The yummy reception food was made by Delectables Catering and the couple’s cupcake tower and cake were made by Chef Nelson.

Dad had a blast with Jen and Kris.  Their wedding was filled with love and emotion and fun and celebration.  The day fit the couple perfectly!  We hope the joy of the wedding day lasts throughout their lives.  Congratulations to Jen and Kris, and thank you for having us share such a special time with you!

Wedding at the Davis Islands Garden Club: Alyssa and Peter

Alyssa and Peter had their engagement session with dad in Tampa and on May day they were back in Tampa with dad for their wedding day!  Their wedding colors were purple and green which looked bright and fun together.  Alyssa even wore pretty purple shoes!  The wedding was at Davis Islands Garden Club and the couple decorated with purple and green pillows, paper lanterns, and uplighting.  Cari of Kyle Lynn did Alyssa’s hair and makeup.  Mom loved how Alyssa’s hair looked.  She was such a beautiful bride!  David from Trinity Wedding Video was great to work with as the videographer.  The purple and green flowers were done by Irene at For Better For Less.  At the reception, Rob Sword of Sword Sounds was the DJ and the cake was made by Chocolate Pi.

Alyssa and Peter are so nice and so in love!  It was great for dad to be there to share their wedding day with them.  Congratulations you two!

Lakeland Wedding at the Magnolia Building: Molly and David

We love this group!  Molly and David were married at the Magnolia Building in Lakeland.  Dad has photographed the weddings for 3 of Molly’s co-workers, Erin, Katrina, and Kyla, and all of them were married at the Magnolia Building as well!

Molly and David had their ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church in Lakeland.  It was a beautiful church despite the extremely grumpy church coordinator:)Darla Stafford joined Molly earlier for hair and makeup.  She is always terrific to work with.  Doug Decker from Grant Hemond did an awesome job as the DJ too.  The reception decorations came together so well!  The couple used a black and white damask pattern and their colors were yellow with white and black.  Mom loved all the details!  There were white and black ceramic bowls with lemons, a candy buffet with all sorts of yellow and black candies, and white and black lanterns filled with flower petals and candles as centerpieces.  Molly even wore little yellow flowers on her shoes!

Thanks to Molly and David for having dad there to celebrate your day.  He said you two were super nice and he had a great time.  Congratulations and enjoy your honeymoon!

Wedding at the Mirror Lake Lyceum: Amy and Evan

After an engagement session in February and a bridal session in March, dad was happy to photograph Amy and Evan’s wedding in April!  They were married at the Mirror Lake Lyceum.  Amy had her hair and makeup done at Spa Olimpia and the couple had Carter’s Florist for their bouquets, Delectables as the caterer, Ty Chaney with Dueling Pianos for entertainment, A Piece of Cake for the wedding cake, and A Better Cheesecake for the groom’s cake.  Amy might not have had it on her vendor list but mom thinks that one of Amy’s best vendors was White House Black Market for her fabulous shoes!  Of course they were perfect for a white and black themed wedding.  All of the bridesmaids wore black dresses and the groomsmen wore black tuxes.

Amy and Evan are terrific together and we know there is much happiness for them in their future.  Dad has really enjoyed being part of the excitement leading up to their day and of course sharing their wedding day with them as well!  Congratulations newlyweds!
