The wedding’s theme was A Midsummer’s Night Dream and the flower girls wore pretty fairy costumes in purples and greens.  Mom loved the bridesmaids’ attire!  They all had different colored gowns in beautiful summer colors.  The reception was decorated in pinks and purples and greens with lots of orchids and branches.  Tables were named after couples from Shakespeare plays and guests got their seating assignments on a booklet of cookie recipes.  Guests were also treated to lots and lots of homemade cookies.  Thanks to Meghan for setting some aside and sending them home for us, and of course thanks to Jamie and Tristan for that as well!

It was a day filled with emotion and love to celebrate an amazing couple.  We are incredibly happy for them and the wonderful future they have to look forward to.  Tristan and Jamie, thank you so much for having us share in your wedding and we hope you two stay in touch!

Katie and Colin put together a fantastic team of vendors for their wedding day.  Darla Stafford is so talented and super nice.  She was there for hair and makeup.  Chad Whelan is a wonderful videographer and dad has lots of fun working with him.  Reverend Tom Greene officiated over the ceremony and Rob Sword of Sword Sounds rocked out as the DJ for the reception.  Debbie of The Bride’s Bouquet did the flowers and Chantilly Cakes made the yummy wedding cake.  Dad enjoyed working with everyone.

Mom loved the bright pink flowers and especially the mini crystal chandeliers used in the centerpieces.  The reception room looked beautiful!  Thanks so much to Katie and Colin for having dad as part of your wedding day.  Congratulations you two!

Molly and David had their ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church in Lakeland.  It was a beautiful church despite the extremely grumpy church coordinator .  Darla Stafford joined Molly earlier for hair and makeup.  She is always terrific to work with.  Doug Decker from Grant Hemond did an awesome job as the DJ too.  The reception decorations came together so well!  The couple used a black and white damask pattern and their colors were yellow with white and black.  Mom loved all the details!  There were white and black ceramic bowls with lemons, a candy buffet with all sorts of yellow and black candies, and white and black lanterns filled with flower petals and candles as centerpieces.  Molly even wore little yellow flowers on her shoes!

Thanks to Molly and David for having dad there to celebrate your day.  He said you two were super nice and he had a great time.  Congratulations and enjoy your honeymoon!

Kristen and Chris chose a pretty persimmon color along with a chocolate brown as their wedding colors.  Dad loved that they strung up pictures on a clothesline as decoration and included some of their fun engagement images.  Mom’s favorite detail was the string of pearls that Kristen had draped on her bouquet.  Pearls make every wedding feel more classic and romantic!  Kristen and Chris, have fun on your Disney cruise and we hope you do live happily ever after!

The wedding the next day was at the Clearwater Beach Recreation Center.  Shawna with Flawless Occasions was the couple’s coordinator and she is a blast to work with.  Dad also got to see the talented and kind Darla Stafford who was there for hair and makeup.  Dana Dineen put together the beautiful flowers and the officiant at the ceremony was Pastor Dean Ryder.  For the reception, lighting and drapery was done by Weddings Done Bright and the room looked pretty with the pink uplighting and gobo light of the couple’s names on the dance floor.  Sommer and Kyle had a terrific team of vendors which continued with Wayne DeLair of DeLair Entertainment as the DJ.  Delectables was the caterer and the Island Way Publix made the couple’s cake.

Sommer and Kyle are an awesome couple and dad loved spending their wedding weekend with them!  Thanks Sommer and Kyle for being so wonderful!  The newlyweds are heading off to Mexico for their honeymoon.  Have fun!

The wedding colors were brown and orange which are perfect for a fall wedding.  There were lots of gerber daisies in the bouquets and as the centerpieces.  The cake was made by A Better Cheesecake and dad said it was very yummy!

Jenise and Seth are headed to Cancun for their honeymoon.  Dad told them to visit Isle Mujeres while they are there and rent a golf cart to drive around the island.  Have a terrific time you two!  Congratulations!

The weather was finally starting to cool off and it was a beautiful day for a beach wedding.  Angie and Nate had an awesome wedding party, though the groomsmen taught dad some very colorful terms that he wishes he could go back and unlearn .  The wedding was lots of fun and Angie and Nate didn’t stop smiling all day long.  Congratulations Angie and Nate, and thanks for having dad there to celebrate with you!

The couple had their friend Lisa as their wedding coordinator and dad said she was great at keeping things organized and on time.  Lou of The Arrangement Florist did the flowers and Chocolate Pi made the couple’s cake.  It is always great to work with Darla Stafford and Rob Sword!  Darla was there for Sara’s hair and makeup (dad is working with her for three weddings in a row this weekend!) and Rob was the DJ at the reception.

Sara and Brian were such a fun couple and dad really enjoyed being there as they started their married life together.  Congratulations newlyweds!!  Have a great time in Maui!  Dad photographed Lisa and Joe’s wedding and they left for their honeymoon in Maui on Friday, so dad says you two should have gotten together to fly him out as well .

Dad said the couple’s favors were one of his most favorite because all the guests will keep them and use them!

We would say that Megan and Sean’s wedding was a dream come true but that would not be a good thing!  Poor Megan had so many pre-wedding nightmares, most of them about vendors not showing up.  With the awesome team of vendors Megan chose, she had nothing to worry about.  The wedding took place at the Davis Island Garden Club in Tampa.  Shawna of Flawless Occasions was the coordinator and dad has so much fun working with her.  She already blogged the wedding as well so be sure to check that out.  And thanks for bringing dad more food for our can drive Shawna!   Darla Stafford and Julie were there for hair and makeup and of course everyone knows how wonderful they always are.  Olympia was the caterer and made the cake as well.  The only reason we are blogging this wedding so quickly is that Megan bribed us by sending home some cake for mom!  (Just teasing about the bribe of course.)  Megan and Sean also had The Production Crew make the patio look great with their lighting effects.  Dad says he loves their lighting not only because it looks good in pictures, but also because the lights are LED and do not get hot.

Megan, Sean, and all their family and friends were terrific.  Dad had photographed Casey and Nathan‘s wedding and it was great for him to see them again.  They are so sweet!  Dad also got to meet mom’s “twitter buddy” Erin.  He had lots of fun at the wedding and got some beautiful pictures of Megan and Sean!  When the couple saw that they wouldn’t have a ton of time for bride and groom pictures after their ceremony, they planned time for night pictures after the reception ended.

Megan and Sean are leaving in just a few hours for their honeymoon in Jamaica.  They are going to have a blast!  Congratulations newlyweds, and thanks for being such an amazing couple .

Silvett and Horton put together a gorgeous wedding!  There were beautiful details all over.  Mom liked the hanging pomander flower balls and the origami table assignments for the guests.  There was a book with the couple’s engagement images telling the story of how they met and began their relationship, and they also had cool panorama strips of the pictures on all of the guests’ napkins.  One really great idea was a sketch on canvas that the couple had out next to glasses holding paint and paintbrushes.  There was a sign asking guests to help fill in a grid on the sketch so that the couple would end up with a painting they could use as art to hang in their apartment.  What a special memory to create and display in your home!  Guests were also asked to write down a wish, some wisdom, or a hello for the bride and groom and place them in one box for the honeymoon and another for the first anniversary.

During the reception, Silvett changed into a red Asian dress.  The cake, table assignments, and other details also gave the wedding an Asian theme.  Silvett’s red dress and heels looked amazing as the night ended and she left with Horton in a bright red convertible.  Thanks Silvett and Horton for having dad there for your wedding!  You did a terrific job putting everything together.  Congratulations!
