Wedding at Heritage Harbor Golf and Country Club: Michelle and Frank

Michelle and Frank are a gorgeous couple and their wedding day fit the two of them perfectly!  They were married at Heritage Harbor Golf and Country Club with an awesome team of vendors including Darla Stafford for hair and makeup, DJ Frank Lebano, and a wedding cake by Chantilly Cakes.  Michelle and her bridesmaids carried unique and pretty bouquets of faux flowers with similar faux flowers used at the centerpieces at the reception.  I think one of Jason’s favorite parts of the wedding day was asking the guests to try to pronounce the name of the table where they were sitting.  Michelle and Frank went to Iceland for their honeymoon (Jason and I want to go!!!) and they named the tables after places in Iceland.  There were also wedding themed mad libs at each guest’s place setting which were lots of fun.  Jason said everyone was wonderful and he had a blast.  Congratulations to the bride and groom, and we hope your happy, lifelong memories continued in Iceland!

Wedding at the BeachHouse Restaurant: Kaylee and David

Jason was happy to join Kaylee as she married David at the BeachHouse RestaurantDarla Stafford did Kaylee’s hair and makeup and Kaylee was a gorgeous bride!  She looked beautiful in her bridal updo with flower accent and her fit and flare gown.  Tiger Lily was the florist and put together some wonderful arrangements.  The greenery used for the ceremony flowers was especially striking.  After a beach ceremony, Kaylee, David, and their guests partied at the reception!  The DJ was from Black Tie DJs and Cakes by Ron made the wedding cake.  After the wedding the bride and groom had their honeymoon in Jamaica.  Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Wedding at the Crosley: Kristen and Josh

Kristen and Josh had a beautiful wedding at The Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota.  The couple shared sweet smiles and loving looks throughout their wedding day as they celebrating the beginning of married life together.  Ashly of Olivier Events was the planner for the wedding.  There was a terrific team of vendors including Darla Stafford for hair and makeup, Flowers by Fudgie as the florist, and the always wonderful Grace Felice of A Wedding with Grace as the officiant.  At the ceremony there was music by Karen’s Violins and the music at the reception was from Black Tie DJs.  The couple had Affairs in the Air decorate the outside patio area with beautiful string lights for people to dine and dance under.  The yummy food came from Mattison’s Catering and Publix made the wedding cake.

Kristen looked gorgeous in her Oleg Cassini halter gown!  The wedding party wore green which was the main wedding color.  Kristen and Josh enjoyed a beautiful sunset that evening which Jason used as the backdrop for their bride and groom pictures.  Congratulations newlyweds!  Thanks for having us as part of your wedding day!

Wedding at The Bay Club at Westshore Yacht Club: Gaia and Brian

Gaia and Brian planned their wedding day to be sure that it reflected their personalities and interests.  It is awesome when a guest can walk into a wedding reception and say, “That is SO Gaia and Brian!”  Gaia had her hair and makeup done by the wonderful Darla Stafford.  The couple had a first sight and then headed over to the Manhattan Baptist Church where the ceremony took place.  The reception was at The Bay Club at Westshore Yacht Club.  The wedding had spring colors like soft pink and apricot with floral arrangements by Apple Blossoms Floral Designs.  The cake used those colors too and had a Willow Tree figurine as the cake topper.  The cake was made by Cristina Liriano of The Decadent Diva.  Rob Sword of Sword Sounds was great as always as the reception DJ.

At the reception the pretty table markers each had a fun fact about the couple at the bottom.  The linens had a beautiful lace overlay which gave the room a romantic look.  F0r desserts there were cake pops, brownie bites, chocolate covered pretzels, and a variety of cupcakes to go with the wedding cake and groom’s cake as well.  It all looked so yummy!

Congratulations to Gaia and Brian, and have a terrific time in Italy this summer!

Wedding at the USF Gibbons Alumni Center: Michele and Nathan

Michele and Nathan had one of Jason’s favorite engagement sessions ever.  They made it all about their styles, their personalities, the things they like, and they included many people from their wedding party as well.  Their engagement session was zombie invasion and Michele and Nathan made it into a terrific production with the makeup, props, and even fog machines!  Knowing how much this couple loves horror and fall and making things their own, we could not wait for their wedding day!

The wedding was held at the USF Gibbons Alumni Center with the ceremony in The Courtyard and the reception in the USF Parents Association Club Room/Atrium.  Michele had the wonderful Darla Stafford as her hair and makeup artist.  At the reception the caterer was Amici’s and the wedding cake was from Publix.  The wedding details were awesome and really reflected Michele and Nathan’s style and personalities!  The flowers were beautiful shades of orange and yellow with some wheat stalks.  There were glitzy pumpkins as decorations and on one of the cake tiers.  The garter had a silly scull face and the boutonniere had little zombie men on them.  The ceremony included the pagan custom of handfasting where the couple’s hands were fastened together with a cord to form an infinity symbol.  At the reception the wedding party entered carrying light sabers and formed a line for the ring bearer (Michele and Nathan’s son) to enter wearing a Darth Vader mask.  There were so many ways that Michele and Nathan included to create a wedding day unique to the two of them and filled with laughter and love.

Michele and Nathan, thank you for letting us be part of this experience with you!  It has been great getting to know you during your wedding planning.  We are so happy for your family and wish you so much happiness in your future together!
