Wedding at the USF Gibbons Alumni Center: Michele and Nathan

Michele and Nathan had one of Jason’s favorite engagement sessions ever.  They made it all about their styles, their personalities, the things they like, and they included many people from their wedding party as well.  Their engagement session was zombie invasion and Michele and Nathan made it into a terrific production with the makeup, props, and even fog machines!  Knowing how much this couple loves horror and fall and making things their own, we could not wait for their wedding day!

The wedding was held at the USF Gibbons Alumni Center with the ceremony in The Courtyard and the reception in the USF Parents Association Club Room/Atrium.  Michele had the wonderful Darla Stafford as her hair and makeup artist.  At the reception the caterer was Amici’s and the wedding cake was from Publix.  The wedding details were awesome and really reflected Michele and Nathan’s style and personalities!  The flowers were beautiful shades of orange and yellow with some wheat stalks.  There were glitzy pumpkins as decorations and on one of the cake tiers.  The garter had a silly scull face and the boutonniere had little zombie men on them.  The ceremony included the pagan custom of handfasting where the couple’s hands were fastened together with a cord to form an infinity symbol.  At the reception the wedding party entered carrying light sabers and formed a line for the ring bearer (Michele and Nathan’s son) to enter wearing a Darth Vader mask.  There were so many ways that Michele and Nathan included to create a wedding day unique to the two of them and filled with laughter and love.

Michele and Nathan, thank you for letting us be part of this experience with you!  It has been great getting to know you during your wedding planning.  We are so happy for your family and wish you so much happiness in your future together!

Wedding at the Rusty Pelican: Helen and Clint

Jason photographed Helen and Clint’s engagement session in July and they were married two months later at the Rusty Pelican.  Jason was excited to work with a team of terrific vendors!  Darla Stafford was there for hair and makeup, David of Trinity Wedding Video was the videographer, Debbie of The Bride’s Bouquet did the floral arrangements and the wedding cake was made by Laurie from A Piece of Cake.  Everything came together to give the bride and groom a wonderful wedding day.  Helen and Clint’s family and friends had a fun time celebrating at the reception.  The DJ was from Bay Area Production.

Helen and Clint are a great couple and we are happy we were able to share in the day they began their lives together as husband and wife.  Congratulations to the newlyweds!  We hope you had an awesome honeymoon cruise!

Wedding at the Rusty Pelican: Kate and Clint

Jason had a great time with Kate and Clint for their engagement session and he was excited to be part of their wedding day!  They are really sweet couple and fun to be around too!  Their wedding was at the Rusty Pelican.  Dad spent the morning with Kate and her girls as they got ready for the day.  The wonderful Darla Stafford and Julie were there for hair and makeup.  The bouquets were from I Do Bouquets and Weddings.  The wedding had a red and black theme and the ceremony site was decorated with red and black paper lanterns and ribbons.  At the reception there was white and black damask with solid reds, blacks, and whites.  The centerpieces had a red ribbon arrangement on top which brightened up the table tops.  Ben from Grant Hemond is always a fun DJ and Laurie of A Piece of Cake made the beautiful white and black cake which sat on a cake table decorated with red rose petals and I DO letters.

Congratulations Kate and Clint!  Thanks for having Jason there to share your special day with you!

I have no idea what is happening in this picture but it makes me laugh!:)

Wedding at Sacred Heart and the Rusty Pelican: Nicole and David

Nicole and David were married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with their reception following at the Rusty Pelican.  The couple had a wonderful team of vendors including Darla Stafford for hair and makeup, Ian of Movie Magic Productions for videography, Irene of For Better For Less as the florist, a cake from Chantilly Cakes, and Ben from Grant Hemond as the DJ.  After their ceremony and pictures in the church, the bride and groom and their wedding party went to downtown Tampa for some pictures before joining their reception.  Jason had a great time at the wedding and said the day went wonderfully.  Congratulations to the newlyweds, and thanks for having us there to capture your wedding day memories!

Wedding at Honeymoon Island: Heather and Kevin

Heather and Kevin had their beach wedding on Honeymoon Island.  Angela was their Weddings on the Beach coordinator.  Dad was happy to work with Darla Stafford and Julie again.  They were there for hair and makeup.  The pink and white flowers were from Karnation Korner Florist.  The ceremony took place under a bamboo arch decorated with pink fabric and Deborah from A Florida Wedding Ceremony was the officiant.  At the reception Rick of Breezin Entertainment was the DJ and the beach themed wedding cake and cute groom’s cake were done by Chef Nelson.

The bride and groom had a wonderful time celebrating the start of their lives together with their family and friends.  Dad said they both had amazing families who were really happy for the new Mr. and Mrs.  Congratulations Heather and Kevin and we hope Mexico was an awesome time!
