Wedding at Avila Golf and Country Club: Catie and Danny

Catie and Danny had their engagement session with Jason at the place where they first met. It was wonderful for Jason to then be part of their full circle moment and join them on their wedding day! The bride and groom had their First Sight before the ceremony and it was great to see them so in love and excited for the day ahead. The ceremony was held at Palma Ceia United Methodist and the reception after was at Avila Golf and Country Club. Jason always enjoys working with Trinity Wedding Cinema and they were there as the videographers for the day. The wedding was just before Christmas and the couple choose white and gold as their colors. With twinkling white lights, the colors created an elegant holiday look. The flowers from Northside Florist were all white and the tall centerpieces at the reception created a grand look for the room. The DJ was Corey from Grant Hemond and Cakes by Nomeda did a beautiful job with a five-tiered white and gold cake. Guests were also treated to a candy buffet which looked as good as it tasted! The candy table continued the white and gold theme.

Jason had a terrific time celebrating with Catie, Danny, and their friends and family. They are a sweet couple and lots of fun too! We hope Aruba was a great honeymoon trip. Congratulations Catie and Danny!

Wedding at the Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club: Sarah and Anthony

One of our favorite parts of our job is getting to meet couples who are truly kind and genuine and then sharing in a celebration of their happiness and their future. Sarah and Tony are a beautiful couple inside and out and Jason was happy to be part of their wedding! They were married at the Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club with a nautical themed day. Their wedding planner was the wonderful Shawna of Flawless Occasions and she helped put together the details of the day and made sure everything ran smoothly. Cari of KyleLynn Weddings is always terrific! She was there for Sarah’s hair and makeup. The other wonderful vendors included flowers from The Bride’s Bouquet, videography from Hearts Video, ceremony music by Bella Musica, and a wedding cake and cute weight-lifting groom’s cake from Cakes by Nomeda. Jason had lots of fun working with Cory from Grant Hemond who was the DJ. Everyone worked together to make the day an amazing celebration for the bride and groom.

Sarah and Tony were surrounded by the love of their family and friends as they began their life together as husband and wife. It was a beautiful day filled with love and laughter! Even the rain couldn’t bring down anyone’s spirits. Thanks so much to Sarah and Tony for having us on your wedding team and for being such an awesome couple! We hope your honeymoon in Italy was the trip of a lifetime and we wish you all the best in your future together!

Wedding at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island: Christie and Stephen

What an awesome wedding!!! Jason had a blast celebrating Christie and Steve’s big day! He knew they were a fun couple from their engagement session and he had been looking forward to their wedding. It was held at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island and the coordinator was Natalia of Days Remembered by ND. Christie had her hair and makeup done by Amber of Shear Art Salon and Spa. Pink was the main wedding color and the floral arrangements from The Flowers Blossom included many pink roses. At the reception the DJ was Cory of Grant Hemond and the cakes were from Chantilly Cakes.

Jason was happy to see several of our other couples at the wedding as well! He caught up with some past brides and grooms and hung out with others who will be getting married later this year. Christie and Steve had a big wedding party and they were all terrific! I was laughing so hard as I was editing and came to the wedding party pictures. I’m editing pictures of the wedding party in the beautiful sun glow after the ceremony and thinking how pretty things were, and then the next picture was of all the guys with their pants down! It takes a confident man to wear Batman briefs on his wedding day…and proudly display them to all of Tampa! The groomsmen ended the reception dancing with their pants around their ankles too. If you’ve got it, flaunt it! Either that or they all enjoyed the apple pie moonshine one of the guests brought a little too much. Everyone was so nice and truly happy for Christie and Steve. They are a terrific couple and we know they are going to have a long and happy marriage filled with laughter and love. Congratulations newlyweds!

Wedding at the Palmetto Club: Amber and Jonathan

Amber and Jonathan had their engagement session last summer. Jason was happy to see them again for their winter wedding at the Palmetto Club. The day started at Ambiance Salon and Spa where Amber had her hair and makeup done. They then headed over to the venue where Amber and Jonathan had a first sight and then took some pictures before the ceremony. The wedding color was purple and the bride’s aunt put together some amazing floral arrangements. The bride’s bouquet was gorgeous and went perfectly with her Martina Liana gown.

At the reception the caterer was Puff N’ Stuff. The wedding cake came from Sweetie Pies Cakes and Jason loved the Angry Birds groom’s cake! The DJ was Cory from Grant Hemond. It was a fun night with lots of dancing and silliness with the photo booth props and sparklers. Amber and Jonathan are a terrific couple and we’re sure that married life is going to be wonderful for them! Congratulations to the bride and groom!

Wedding at the Grand Plaza: Melissa and Kent

Melissa and Kent had their beach wedding at the Grand Plaza Resort in St. Petersburg. The couple had the always amazing Shawna of Flawless Occasions as their wedding coordinator. Dad always has a fun time when working with her. Cari of Kyle Lynn Weddings was there for hair and makeup and she is terrific as well. The wedding flowers were done by Dana Dineen and there were lots of roses decorating both the ceremony arch and the reception. John from A Perfect Witness was the officiant at the ceremony and at the reception Corey from Grant Hemond was the DJ. The cake was bright and bold with red, orange, and pink layers decorated with deep blue accents. Laurie of A Piece of Cake did a great job with it!
