Wedding at Sacred Heart and the Italian Club: Amanda and Jason

Amanda and Jason became husband and wife at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and celebrated the start of their married life at a reception at The Italian Club in Tampa.  Amanda started her day at the Embassy Suites where she had her hair and makeup done by Darcy of Salon Belladonna.  The wedding colors were yellow and gray which create a fun yet elegant wedding!  The flowers were some of my favorites.  There were lots of Baby’s Breath and Queen Anne’s Lace decorating the reception tables and those tall centerpieces alternated with greenery.  Lemons were scattered to bring in the yellow color.  The Bride’s Bouquet was the florist.  Roberto and the Flats was the band at the reception and the food and cake were made by Catering by the Family.

Jason loved seeing so many of Amanda and Jason’s framed engagement pictures decorating the reception site and used in the guest signature mat as well!  Thanks to the wonderful couple for having Jason there for your engagement session and wedding, and we wish you all the best in the wonderful moments and milestones that married life will bring!

Wedding at the Palmetto Club: Michelle and Devin

Jason loved sharing in the celebration of Michelle and Devin’s wedding day!  They are so nice and lots of laughs.  Jason said he had a terrific time with them!  The wedding was held at the The Palmetto Club.  Cally, a family friend, was the day of coordinator and at the ceremony the officiant, Jerry, was also a family friend.  It is special when you are able to have family and friends as a part of the wedding.  Michelle and Devin were headed to a Disney cruise for their honeymoon so they included some Disney details on their wedding day.  Now that Jason has seen an actual glass slipper he thinks all of his Disney brides should wear a pair:).

The wedding colors were purple and green.  The ceremony arch looked like it was covered in a lush grapevine right out of Tuscany!  The deep purple with the branches was gorgeous.  Having wine bottles as the centerpieces of the reception tables matched the Tuscan vineyard look as well.  Events in Bloom did a terrific job with all the flowers. Jude from Grant Hemond was the DJ for the reception and the food and wedding cake was from Catering by the Family.

Thank you so much to Michelle and Devin for having Jason there to capture your memories!  Congratulations and we are excited to see what the future brings for you two!

Merry Times this Christmas Season

Every year we have a Christmas party and invite all of our past and present clients as a thanks for allowing us to be part of your lives.  Every year we have so much fun and this year was no exception!  Thanks so much to everyone who joined us.  We enjoyed a yummy holiday dinner from Catering by the Family.  There were Christmas crafts and activities for the kids.  Santa even came by and took pictures with everyone!  Before he left he read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas and lead a sing-a-long of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.  We had a terrific time and felt the Christmas spirit as we celebrated the season with everyone.  Merry Christmas!

The instructions on this tree say it can grow to be 40-80 feet tall!  We are going to try to plant it and see what happens:

We had elves helping the kids with coloring pages, letters to Santa, and other Christmas crafts such as picture frames and ornaments:

Every year the hot chocolate station is a huge hit!  We have whipped cream, marshmallows, and chocolate chips as toppings:

I didn’t do my Christmas baking yet but the desserts from the store were still yummy:

Balloon twisting and face painting!

Instead of reindeer and Christmas trees, the boys asked for lightsabers and swords:

Santa arrives!  The kids looked so amazed and excited:

Darth Maul meets Luke Skywalker:

As my friend Wendy said, nothing says Christmas like Darth Maul!

A pretty elf with her elf hat:

Yummy (and messy!) food:

The Darth Mauls and their lightsabers:

Pictures with Santa are always a blast!  Some kids are really happy to be with Santa, some are really NOT happy, and some could care less:)  Here are some smiles to start off with:

Just hanging with Santa:

And then the classic Santa crying pictures!  In this one, I love how she is checking him out and not liking what she sees:

Bet you can’t guess where her mom is standing:

1 out of 2 isn’t too bad!

Matching Santa hats:

Santa isn’t just for kids!

Santa reading “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” to the kids:

When the story was done, this little girl walked up to Santa and asked him to read it to her again.  So sweet!

Thanks again to everyone who joined us, and Merry Christmas!

Wedding at the Palmetto Club: Amanda and Eric

Jason loves photographing weddings for the family members of his other couples, especially when they have a really terrific family!  Jason loved being part of Jennifer and Trae’s wedding almost three years ago and he was thrilled when Jennifer’s sister Amanda got in touch with him about her own wedding!

Jason had a great time with Amanda and Eric at their engagement session and they had a beautiful wedding day.  The ceremony was held at the First United Methodist Church of Brandon and the reception was at the Palmetto Club.  The wedding colors were black and white with red and Moate’s Florist put together the floral arrangements including Amanda’s stunning bouquet!  Amanda was a gorgeous bride and looked so elegant and timeless in her bridal updo and beautiful gown.  Eric wore a classic black tux but he had fun with his outfit later in the day when he changed into Gator colors with an orange tie and bright blue vest.  The Gator vs ‘Noles rivalry was something the couple had fun with in details at the reception:).  The reception was catered by Catering by the Family and the wedding cake came from Cafe and Bakery.  The DJ was from Grant Hemond.

It was wonderful for Jason to see Amanda and Jennifer’s family again and all of the family and friends of Amanda and Eric that were there to celebrate the wedding were really fun and friendly people.  Jason also got to see Jackie and Brett whose wedding Jason photographed earlier this year!  It was a terrific day for an awesome couple surrounded by their friends and family.  Thank you to Amanda and Eric for having Jason there to celebrate with you and capture your day!

Celebrating the Season

Mom Blogging:

Sharing in the such important moments in people’s lives has brought many wonderful people into our own lives.  Just as we did last year, we hosted a Christmas party and invited all of our past and present clients.  It was our way of saying thank you for inviting us to share in your celebrations by having a good time celebrating the fun and cheer of this Christmas season together!  Thank you to all of the people who joined us and made it so great.  We had just under 90 people come!  There were elves making ornaments and doing others crafts with the kids, a balloon twister, face painting, wonderful carolers, and Santa himself was there for pictures!  The food from Catering by the Family was so yummy!  We also had wine with festive red and green wine glasses and a hot chocolate bar with lots of whipped cream, marshmallows, and chocolate chips to top it off.  But of course the best part of it all was sharing an evening with so many fantastic people.  The good friends and good cheer really made the party exactly what we were hoping for.  Thank you again for everyone who came to join us!

This is busy season so Jason and I haven’t been getting much sleep lately.  I think it shows with how he assembled the North Pole sign at around 3am the night before the party:

Directions for the hot chocolate bar.  We couldn’t refill everything fast enough!

Some of the snacks and treats we had out:

We had the traditional holiday food of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, green beans, and rolls.

The elves in the Elf Room getting ready for the kids to show up:

Making a Santa ornament:

Making a poster of favorite Christmas memories:

“My Favorite Christmas Tradition is…wrapping paper fight!”  We saw that on a poster and now we think it is going to become a new Angelini family tradition too!

The awesome balloon twisting, face painting elf.  She made balloons into Luke Skywalker and Darth Maul, Cinderella, Pinocchio, Rudolf, and even our own family!

Thanks to Stacy of Meant to Be Wed for her help with the party! She also helped us find these amazing carolers!  I want carolers to follow me around for the whole Christmas season.  They make everything feel so festive!

Before Santa arrived everyone was all smiles and excited to see him!

He made his entrance and greeted all the kids.

But once he sat down for pictures, some of those smiles faded.  We tried with our own kids first but our youngest made a quick run for it!

Santa and the elves.  Thanks again to the elves for all their help!

Some kids were sure to bring their lists so they didn’t forget to tell Santa what they wanted.

Santa with Rudolf:

Some of the kids cried making for some classic Baby and Santa pictures!

(This is one of my most favorites!)

Other kids had wonderful smiles!

She is being sure to let Santa knows what she wants for Christmas before she leaves.

Other kids just wanted to check him out to see what this was all about.

Some of the family pictures with Santa:

To see more of the kids (and adults) with Santa, check out the gallery of Santa pictures on our Facebook Page.

Once Santa was done with pictures he gathered all the kids and read them ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas before saying goodbye and heading back to the North Pole.

Santa’s helper:

We had plans for everyone to gather outside to watch the classic Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer on our new outdoor projector and screen but we had some technical difficulties (being that Jason tripped over the wires and knocked everything down! Straight out of Christmas Vacation!) so we just played the show in our movie room upstairs instead.

It was really a terrific night and got all of us into the Christmas spirit.  We hope all of you take time with family and friends to celebrate the season and enjoy this most wonderful time of the year!
