Wedding at the River Wildnerness Golf and Country Club: Nicole and Brian

Dad had a great time with Nicole and Brian!  They had an elegant wedding but kept it lots of fun too.  Their wedding party was a blast and impressively acrobatic!  It was a terrific day.

The wedding was held at the River Wilderness Golf and Country Club.  Cari from Kyle Lynn Weddings was there for hair and makeup.  Dad enjoyed working with her again.  The flowers were done by Oneco Florist.  Dad was happy to see Grace of A Wedding with Grace and she always does a great job as the officiant.  The DJ was from DeLair Entertainment and the awesome green and black cake was made by Cakes by Ron.

The couple enjoyed some time in Key West for their honeymoon.  We hope it was a lot of fun!  Congratulations on your beautiful wedding and all the best in your future as husband and wife!

Wedding at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island: Lindsay and David

After a beautiful engagement session with Lindsay and David, dad was excited to spend the day after Thanksgiving celebrating their wedding.  They are such a sweet couple and dad said seeing them so happy and in love on their wedding day was a wonderful thing.  The wedding took place at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island.  Their coordinator was Brittany of Tickled Pink Brides and dad enjoyed meeting her.  Lindsay and David’s other vendors on their terrific team included videographer Chad Whelan who dad always has fun with, Cari of Kyle Lynn Weddings for hair and makeup, beautiful floral arrangements by Redman Steele Floral Design Studio, Bella Musica playing music during the ceremony, the always talented Rob Sword of Sword Sounds for the DJ, a pretty cake from A Piece of Cake and decor items from Fairytale Weddings and Events (727-235-2771).

Lindsay and David had their first sight before the ceremony so that they would have time for daylight pictures of the bride and groom.  It was raining a bit but dad just had the couple duck into some covered areas for pictures.  The ceremony was officiated by the bride’s uncle and having someone who knows the couple always makes it more intimate and personal.  At the reception the guests were treated to an ice cream bar and Florida Gators cookies to honor the University of Florida where the couple met, fell in love, and were engaged.  Mom thought it was cute that the cookies weren’t put out until later in the evening and the favor tags read, “See you later… Alligator!  Thanks for coming.  Go Gators!”  Those little personal details are what make every wedding so special for each couple.

The newlyweds enjoyed a honeymoon in Italy and France!  We are sure it was an amazing trip.  Lindsay and David, we hope every day of your marriage is filled with as much romance and fun as all the deep dip kisses as you shared on your wedding day:).  Congratulations!

Wedding at the Grand Plaza: Erika and Shane

Another beautiful beach wedding at the Grand Plaza Beach Resort!  Erika and Shane were married at the end of October and dad was there to photograph their wedding.  Dad also photographed their engagement session this past summer.  Erika and Shane had the talented Irene of For Better For Less put together the flowers.  Cari from KyleLynn Weddings is always great to work with and she was there for Erika’s hair and makeup.  Expert Productions was there as the videographer and DJ.  Le Cheesecake put together an awesome poker themed groom’s cake and a wedding cake with star fish and seashells.  Guests loved having a cigar roller from Serafin de Cuba at the reception.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Hawaii!  We hope they had a fantastic time.  Thanks to Erika and Shane for having us there as a part of your big day!

Wedding at the TradeWinds: Much Rejoicing with Emily and Stephan

Emily and Ted were so much fun at their engagement session and dad expected nothing less from their wedding.  Meghan of Dream Day Productions was the couple’s coordinator and the officiant so dad knew the day was sure to go well.  She’s wonderful to work with!  The couple was married at the TradeWinds Island Resort on St. Pete Beach.  Cari from KyleLynn Cosmetics was there for Emily’s getting ready.  Emily’s hair was pulled back into a low loose bun which was adorned with white flowers with a cluster of pearls in the center.  The wedding colors were shades of purples that were both bright and deep with green accents.  Stephanie from FishHawk Weddings created the bouquet and floral arrangements in the purple color.  The branches that made the ceremony arch were gorgeous!  Mom’s favorite detail from the wedding was also at the ceremony.  The couple had a sign that said, “And there was much rejoicing!” with flags that said, “Yay” for their guests to wave.  What a fun quote from the classic film Monty Python and the Holy Grail to use at a wedding!  The fun movie details continued at the reception where tables were named with quotes from some of the couple’s other favorite movies.  Rob from Grant Hemond did a great job as the DJ and Chef Nelson made the wedding cake.  Emily and Ted made their day fun and personal and everyone had a blast.  They are awesome people!  AND we have to thank Emily for all her help with that list of things to do when we head up to VT in just a couple weeks for our vacation!

Emily and Ted, thank you for having us as part of your wedding.  You two did a wonderful job having the day reflect your personalities and your love.  Congratulations, and be sure to stay in touch!

Tampa Bay Watch Wedding: Lauren and Nick

Lauren and Nick included so many awesome details for their wedding day!  They made sure that their day was a lot of fun not just for them but for their guests as well.  They were married at St. Paul’s Catholic Church and had their reception at Tampa Bay Watch.  Lauren had Cari from Kyle Lynn with her for hair and makeup and she looked beautiful.  The wonderful Ian from Movie Magic Productions was there as the videographer.  After the ceremony the bride and groom and their wedding party went to Fort Desoto for pictures before joining their guests at the reception.  The guests were kept entertained with corn hole, bocce ball, horseshoes, and filling out the advice cards for the couple which worked like a game of Madlibs.  The wedding colors were yellow and blue which mom loves!  The Gators were well represented as well with Gator cuff links, a Gator ring pillow, and of course the Gator chomp.  Tables had vintage postcards from different Florida cities and there was a wooden directional sign showing the mileage from the wedding to other sites in Florida as well.  One of mom’s favorite details was the Smores bar at the reception.  There was chocolate, marshmallows, graham crackers, and a quote from the movie The Sandlot explaining how to make a Smore.  There was also ice cream and ice cream cones and when dad saw someone make a Coke float he wanted to find some root beer to join him!

Lauren and Nick, you did a terrific job putting together the details to make a gorgeous and fun wedding.  Congratulations to you both!
