Wedding at the Davis Islands Garden Club: Sharon and Lawrence and the Butterflies

“Beautiful and graceful, varied and enchanting, small but approachable, butterflies lead you to the sunny side of life.  And everyone deserves a little sunshine.”  -Jeffrey Glassberg

Sharon and Larry had a beautiful garden style wedding with butterflies every where!  They had so many great details combining their colors of orange and pink with their butterfly theme.  Simply Divine Events was their wedding planner and helped put together a great day at the Davis Islands Garden Club.  Amy of Not From a Box made the stationary.  The flowers were done by Events in Bloom and looked gorgeous!  At the reception, Inspire Entertainment was the DJ and the pretty butterfly cake was made by Cakes by Nomeda.

Dad had a blast with this amazing couple.  He says they are all going to head out to the Beer Shed for a get together one night soon :) .  Congratulations Sharon and Larry!

Rusty Pelican Wedding: Michelle and Bryan

Michelle and Bryan had a beautiful bright spring wedding at the Rusty Pelican in Tampa.  Their florist, La Vie en Rose, used oranges, yellows, reds, and purples to make their day colorful and fun.  Felix the DJ brought pink uplighting to the reception which added to the colorful day and guests were treated to a view of the pretty orange sunset through the reception room’s windows.  The couple had Rabbi Baseman as the officiant and dad always enjoys his cheerfulness.  Cakes by Nomeda made the wedding cake which was decorated with silver dots and topped by big blooming flowers.  Moms favorite detail was the red flowers inside of glass ornaments which hung from trees strung with crystals and more bright flowers.  Everything came together wonderfully!

Congratulations Michelle and Bryan!  We hope your married life is just like your wedding day, bright, beautiful, and fun!

Nicole and Matthew’s Wedding at the Rusty Pelican

On Saturday dad was at the Rusty Pelican in Tampa for Nicole and Matt’s wedding.  Just three weeks before he had seen Nicole and Matt at the Rusty Pelican when they were guests at Rachel and Chris’s wedding!  It was great to see Rachel and Chris again as guests this weekend.

A year ago dad photographed Nicole and Matt for their engagement session at the beach.  They were lots of fun and dad knew their wedding was going to be amazing.  The ceremony took place at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral which was gorgeous inside.  Dad loves Greek Orthodox ceremonies and the traditions involved.  Nicole and Matt’s ceremony was mostly in Greek and dad said it was beautiful even if he couldn’t understand it.

The florist was Debbie of The Bride’s Bouquet and her centerpieces helped make the reception room look great.  Jose of Just OutStanding Entertainment was the DJ at the reception and the dance floor was busy all night.  Dad though the groom’s cake was creative.  It was a cat scan machine!  The wedding cake was beautifully detailed.  Cakes by Nomeda did a terrific job.

Dad said there were so many great people at the wedding!  Nicole and Matt have awesome friends and family and it was great spending the day with them.  Congratulations Nicole and Matt!  Have a “dam” good time on your honeymoon ;-)

Desiree and Ryan

On Friday Dad went to the Don Vicente in Ybor City to photograph Desiree and Ryan’s wedding. Desiree was truly stunning!  She looked absolutely gorgeous in her gown.  Amber from the Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group was there before dad arrived to help Desiree get ready.  Dad thought Desiree’s tattoo was pretty cool.

Desiree and Ryan decided to see each other before the ceremony and were able to finish most of their pictures then so their family and friends were able to enjoy the cocktail hour.

Jackie from Table Six Productions was the couple’s coordinator.  Mom liked the idea to block off the doorway during the ceremony.

Dad said that Ryan and Desiree were such nice people, and fun to be around too!  Mom thinks their smiles look so genuine and full of joy.  Josh from Inspire Entertainment was great as the DJ for the reception.

The cake, made by Cakes by Nomeda, looked too yummy for some people to resist!

After the reception Dad, Desiree, and Ryan went for a walk around Ybor. Being Friday night there were a lot of people there to congratulate the newlyweds. They were a fun and adventurous couple and dad had a blast with them.

Congratulations Desiree and Ryan!  Have a great time on your European honeymoon!
