Wedding at the Grand Plaza: Rebecca and Jeff

Rebecca and Jeff had their wedding at the always wonderful Grand Plaza Hotel on St. Pete Beach.  The couple came down from Canada to enjoy the beautiful weather of Florida in the fall.  Mom fell in love with Rebecca’s Badgley Mischka silver Randall shoes!  Gorgeous!!  Rebecca’s gown with the delicate beaded lace straps that crossed in the open back was stunning as well.  Jeff looked great in his gray suit and checked purple shirt with purple tie too.  Rose Garden Florist did the flowers for the wedding, Joe of Expert Productions was the DJ, and the cake was made by Cakes by Carolyn.  Congratulations Rebecca and Jeff!  We hope your honeymoon cruise was as much fun than your wedding day!

St. Pete Beach Wedding at the Grand Plaza: Sari and Eric

We love when a bride just throws her head back and laughs like every moment of her wedding day has been the very best moment of her life.  Sari and Eric were married on St. Pete Beach at the wonderful Grand Plaza Beachfront Resort.  It is such an awesome venue with great people working there so dad always enjoys weddings there.  Sari and Eric had their flowers by Publix, Joe Lorenzo of Expert Productions as their DJ, and their cake from Cakes by Carolyn.

The couple included some Finnish traditions into their wedding day and had their programs printed with both English and Finnish text.  The wedding colors were black and white with red accents.  Mom thought the bridesman’s black and white striped vest was stylin’!  And Sari threw in a splash of bright colors with her fantastic Just Married platform flip flops!  Not to mention the bright colors the groom wore when he put on the pink boa and starred speedos at the reception:)

Dad said Sari and Eric were a terrific couple and the best part of the day was seeing the laughter and love they shared.  There wasn’t a moment during the day that Sari wasn’t wearing a big smile!  We hope that both the fun and the emotion of their wedding day stays with them throughout all of their married life.  Congratulations you two!

Wedding at the Mirror Lake Lyceum: Bonnie and Karl

“It’s more than a feeling, this is the real thing we got here.

We are flirting with greatness, God’s been so gracious.

He is holding onto you.

And me.

And we can rest easy…”

Bonnie and Karl are an awesome couple!  They were so much fun at their engagement session, dixielicious and all, and dad was really excited to be there for their wedding day!  They were married at Church by the Sea with their reception following at Mirror Lake Lyceum.  Cari of Kyle Lynn Cosmetics did Bonnie’s hair and makeup, not that Bonnie needed much help.  She is gorgeous!  Janet Baldwin was the florist, Orange Blossom was the caterer, Cakes by Carolyn made the cake, and the terrific Doug Decker of Grant Hemond was the DJ.

Bonnie and Karl are so in love with their faith and with life, and both of those just strengthens their love for each other.  Their happiness is contagious and you cannot help but smile when you see them together.  We know they have a long and wonderful future to look forward to.  Bonnie and Karl, thank you for letting us share in your happy memories!  Congratulations to a fantastic couple, and keep in touch!

Wedding at the Grand Plaza: Lorelei and Ed

Lorelei and Ed were married two weeks ago in a beautiful beach ceremony at the Grand Plaza.  The couple chose bright bold colors to accent their main blue color which was great for a bride and groom who are really sweet to each other and a lot of fun too.  Flowers by Voytex was the florist, Rob Sword was the DJ, and Cakes by Carolyn made the cake.  Congratulations Lorelei and Ed!  We hope you always keep that mix of romance and fun!

Angela and Charlie at the Grand Plaza

It has been a couple weeks since Angela and Charlie’s wedding but we are still working on catching up on the blog.  What a blessing to be so busy that we have lots and lots to blog about!

Angela and Charlie were married at the wonderful Grand Plaza on St. Pete Beach.  Dad says Kristi, the coordinator for the Grand Plaza, is wonderful.  Reverend Tom Greene was the officiant and he always does a good job as well.

Angela was a gorgeous bride and mom loved her gown!  It looked terrific on her.  Angela and Charlie’s friends and family were so happy to be there to celebrate their day.  The ceremony was an emotional one with many tears of joy, and then the reception was a big party!  Thank you for having dad there to witness your love and the beginning of your lives together.  Congratulations newlyweds!

One of mom’s favorites from the day:

This was dad’s first wedding after switching to Nikon and he thought it was funny to see many wedding guests who were Nikon users as well.  And of course the lone, sad Canon user:).
