Wedding at Village Walk on Palmer Ranch: Katelyn and Kurt

Katelyn and Kurt were awesome at their engagement session and Jason was excited to laugh and have fun with them again on their wedding day!  They were married at Village Walk on Palmer Ranch in Sarasota.  Katelyn started her wedding day at the Hyatt Regency with her hair and makeup done by Beauty Brought Out.  She wore a Melissa Sweet gown and gorgeous Louboutin shoes.  Her bouquet and the other floral arrangements were done by Bee Ridge Florist.  Katelyn and Kurt had their first sight before the ceremony and took their bride and groom pictures by the boat docks on the water at the Hyatt.

A vintage Rolls Royce drove the bride to the ceremony which was held under an arch of tree branches decorated with hanging crystals and flowers.  The best wedding ceremonies have both laughter and tears and it was sweet to see the bride and groom feeling the emotion and the joy of their day.  The reception was catered by Simply Gourmet Caterers and the four-tiered wedding was from A Slice of HeavenDeLair Entertainment was the DJ and guests had a great time celebrating with the bride and groom.

Congratulations to Katelyn and Kurt!  Thanks for including us in your beautiful day!

Wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate: Laura and Kevin

The Powel Crosley Estate is a historic mansion in Sarasota and a beautiful wedding venue.  Laura and Kevin had their black and white themed wedding there just a few weeks ago.  Laura had her hair and makeup done by Fabiola of Ana Molinari and Kristine of Fabulous Faces by Kristine (facesbykristine@yahoo.com).  The ceremony was held on the back deck and Grace of A Wedding with Grace was the officiant.  She always does a terrific job.  Bee Ridge Florist was the couple’s florist.  Laura’s bouquet was gorgeous and classic.  Mom loved the pearls inside the stephanotis centers.  The reception was held in a tent on the back lawn.  The DJ was Wayne of DeLair Entertainment and Cakes by Ron made the three tiered square black and white cake.

The entire wedding had a timeless look but a modern feel brought out by Laura and Kevin’s fun personalities.  Congratulations to the newlyweds!  We hope you enjoyed your trip to Antigua!

Wedding at Mattison’s Riverside Restaurant: Lauren and Brock

Dad enjoyed spending the day with Lauren and Brock at their engagement session so he knew he was going to have fun with them on their big day.  They are a down-to-earth, happy couple and their wedding day was a beautiful and fun event!  Lauren had her hair and makeup done at her bridesmaid’s salon, Southern Roots salon in Sarasota.  Everyone then headed over to Mattison’s Riverside Restaurant where the wedding was going to take place.  Bee Ridge Florist did a terrific job on the flowers and the purple hydrangea and green orchids in Lauren’s bouquet looked pretty!  Before the ceremony Lauren and Brock had a first sight where they were able to spend a few minutes alone with each other taking in the excitement of the day before gathering their family and wedding party for the group pictures.

After the ceremony dad spent time with Lauren and Brock for their bride and groom pictures before they entered the reception.  The purple and green wedding colors were used in the menu and favor tags at each place setting as well as the table centerpieces.  Dad loved seeing all the engagement images that the couple used at their reception.  A large framed picture was the guest signature mat, there was a photo book of images telling all about their session, and the guest book table had pictures framed in modern green and purple frames which mom really loved!  The DJ for the reception was DJ Fitz from Jay Goodley Entertainment and the cake was made by Pastries by Design.

Lauren and Brock were the epitome of “the happy couple.”  They smiled and laughed and enjoyed every second of their wedding day!  Dad said anyone with them couldn’t help but smile and share in their happiness too.  Congratulations to Lauren and Brock!  We hope Cancun was awesome!
