Wedding at Tampa Bay Watch: Delfina and Daniel

Delfina and Daniel had a beautiful wedding at a terrific venue, Tampa Bay Watch.  The wedding planner was Sha’s New Leaf and floral arrangements were done by Flowers by Design.  At the reception, dinner was from Amici’s Catering and the wedding cake was made by Chantilly Cakes.  The DJ was DJ Quilla.

It was wonderful to see Delfina and Daniel smiling all day!  They felt the love and the emotion of the wedding day.  Jason was so happy for them.  Delfina looked so gorgeous in her gown.  The details of the day, including the table numbers and the stationary, were really pretty too!  The couple made the day their own as well.  As a gift to their guests, they donated to the CAN Fútbol Foundation because of how much they love soccer.  They also included an Apache Love Poem in their program.  It was a beautiful poem!

“Now you will feel no rain,
for each of you will be shelter for the other.
Now you will feel no cold,
for each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now there will be no loneliness,
for each of you will be companion to the other.
Now you are two persons,
but there are three lives before you: his life, her life and your life together.
Go now to your dwelling place to enter into your days together.
And may all your days be good and long upon the Earth.”

Congratulations Delfina and Daniel on an amazing wedding day and what is sure to be a long marriage filled with love and laughter.

Wedding at the Kapok: Michelle and Michael

Michelle and Michael had their engagement session with Jason in the spring and Jason was happy to join them again for their wedding day!  They were married at the Kapok Special Events Center.  The wedding planner was Suda of Weddings by Suda.  The couple’s videographer was Chad Whelan and Jason enjoyed working with him.  Michelle had her hair and makeup done by Maya from Bayfront Tower Hair Design 21.  It was such a fun morning as everyone felt the excitement and emotion of the day!  Flowers came from Heaven Scent Florist Inc and were in shades of whites and greens to match the wedding colors.  At the reception the food was from Amici’s Catering and cakes were from Chantilly Cakes.  The groom’s cake was an old school Nintendo!  How fun is that!  The DJ was from Grant Hemond and the wedding guests enjoyed dancing and celebrating.  One of Jason’s favorite moments from the day was the garter removal when Michael pulled out his Mario hat!  That is just awesome.

Michelle and Michael had a wonderful wedding and then honeymooned in the Dominican Republic!  They love one another deeply and support each other fully.  Thank you to the newlyweds for having us a part of a day to celebrate that love!

Wedding at Sunken Gardens: Sylvia and John

When Sylvia and John stopped by a record store during their awesome engagement session it was just a little taste of what their wedding day would be.  They were married at Sunken Gardens and their day had a really fun music theme!  Desiree from Magical Plan-It Events was the planner and helped put all the details together.  Jason loves working with David and Kristina of Trinity Wedding Video who were there as the videographers.  They shared a Sneak Peek Film that helped to capture the wonderful day.  Sylvia had her makeup done by Beautiful You MakeupCarter’s Florist did the flowers for the day and the bridesmaids’ bouquets were pretty with black feathers under the flowers.  At the reception the caterer was Amici’s Catering, Chantilly Cakes made the wedding cake which had music notes as part of the decoration, and the DJ was Richard Blade who came from California.

Sylvia and John are such sweet people and their wedding was a blast!  The ceremony was just after sunset and the reception was a terrific celebration.  Jason came home from the wedding with so many great songs stuck in his head!  He said there was awesome music all night which you of course have to have when your wedding has a music theme.  The tables were framed album covers from a wide variety of bands.  Favors had a mini record attached that said “Take Me Home Tonight” (I love 80s music!)  Guests signed in on CD info pages that were put into a CD case.  On the tables were papers for guests to write music requests for the DJ.  Kids had fun with legos and coloring books and lots of dancing.  Jason was happy to see Jamie and Tristan who were guests at the wedding.  It was such a fun night for the bride, groom, and all of their guests!

Sylvia and John’s love for each other and their kind hearts are obvious to everyone who sees them.  We are so happy for them!  Congratulations newlyweds!

Wedding at the USF Gibbons Alumni Center: Michele and Nathan

Michele and Nathan had one of Jason’s favorite engagement sessions ever.  They made it all about their styles, their personalities, the things they like, and they included many people from their wedding party as well.  Their engagement session was zombie invasion and Michele and Nathan made it into a terrific production with the makeup, props, and even fog machines!  Knowing how much this couple loves horror and fall and making things their own, we could not wait for their wedding day!

The wedding was held at the USF Gibbons Alumni Center with the ceremony in The Courtyard and the reception in the USF Parents Association Club Room/Atrium.  Michele had the wonderful Darla Stafford as her hair and makeup artist.  At the reception the caterer was Amici’s and the wedding cake was from Publix.  The wedding details were awesome and really reflected Michele and Nathan’s style and personalities!  The flowers were beautiful shades of orange and yellow with some wheat stalks.  There were glitzy pumpkins as decorations and on one of the cake tiers.  The garter had a silly scull face and the boutonniere had little zombie men on them.  The ceremony included the pagan custom of handfasting where the couple’s hands were fastened together with a cord to form an infinity symbol.  At the reception the wedding party entered carrying light sabers and formed a line for the ring bearer (Michele and Nathan’s son) to enter wearing a Darth Vader mask.  There were so many ways that Michele and Nathan included to create a wedding day unique to the two of them and filled with laughter and love.

Michele and Nathan, thank you for letting us be part of this experience with you!  It has been great getting to know you during your wedding planning.  We are so happy for your family and wish you so much happiness in your future together!

Wedding at the Lange Farm: Emily and Joshua

Emily and Josh were married at the Lange Farm in Dade City.  They had a beautiful autumn wedding with browns, oranges, reds, and yellows as the fall colors.  Irene of For Better for Less was the florist and at the reception the vendors were Amici’s Catering,  Laurie from A Piece of Cake, and Sean of Sword Sounds.

The couple had bride and groom pictures after their ceremony and then did a few more at the end of the night when the reception ended.  Jason likes having the time to get the bride and groom more variety to their pictures!  I think it is a wonderful thing when a couple makes their faith an important part of their wedding day.  Josh took a moment to stand with his groomsmen and pray before the ceremony.  We wish the couple many blessings in their life together as husband and wife.  Congratulations to a wonderful couple!
