The Baby Brother and the Heirloom Baptism Gown

Jamie has three boys and they are spaced apart almost the same as the kids in our family! They are about a year ahead of us though. All six of us together would be an awesome play date. We have to do that once our little sister is old enough to play too. Dad went over to their house two weeks ago to photograph the youngest in his Baptism gown. It was made by the boys’ grandmother and has been worn by all three of them for their Baptisms. How special! Thanks for having dad over!

Sitting on the Dock

October 29, 2009 – 8:56 pm

Wednesday morning dad met Heather and her 9 month old daughter for a portrait session at Heather’s parents house. They started outside on the dock and the grass, but a morning of pictures can wear a girl out! After a quick nap, Heather let out the dogs out and the little girl woke right up smiling. Dad said of the three dogs, the tiny chihuahua was the dominant one which was funny because there was also a big bull mastiff! It was a fun session for dad sticking out his tongue with a cute baby and howling with a chihuahua.

Mom thought the baby’s shoes were pretty! She is already accessorizing well.

9 Months and Growing!

Elizabeth and Bryan brought their youngest daughter over for a session on Wednesday. Dad hadn’t photographed her since she was a newborn and now she is 9 months! Along with her parents and her big sister, they have a wonderful family and it has been great to get to know them.

Nine Months

Mom was so sad when Weslie moved out of state just after she started talking about planning play dates together. Hmmm, was that a coincidence or not? Luckily it has worked out for the family to be in town for all of their little girl’s first year pictures! Mom was excited to see Weslie, Jeremy, and of course their beautiful daughter. They came over last Tuesday for a nine month session. Mom had us boys over at grandma’s for a while that day and being pregnant and exhausted she decided to take a nap. She couldn’t believe it when she woke up and it was so late that the session was over! So she missed out on seeing everyone but said she is going to be sure to see them when they are back in town for Christmas.

A double ear infection is no fun, especially when you are teething too, but with Weslie and Jeremy as parents there are lots of smiles to go around. They are a really fun family and we are so happy to know them.

9 Month Old

Just after dad photographed a 6 month old last Monday, he went over to another family’s house to photograph their nine month old. Dad says this is one of his favorite ages to photograph. This baby was especially adorable because he had the biggest, happiest open mouth smile! It makes you smile just looking at him! When he wasn’t smiling he was sticking his tongue out and just exploring everything. Dad had so much fun and he wants to thank the parents for being up for all of his suggestions.
