  • Jason Angelini Photography: The Blog

Thanks for checking out our updated blog! You'll notice that we have quite a few changes. The biggest is that for the first time since we started blogging the posts are not written in the voice of our young kids. It became more confusing as our family grew so we have simplified the descriptions of the weddings.

Another change is how easy it is to share the blog posts now through our "Share and Enjoy" feature! You can like a post or share a post on Facebook, Twitter, or many other sites. Also, the comment section for each post is now more noticeable and easier to use.

We have also included some general pricing info and a contact page so you can send us a message right from the blog. Of course our wedding and people websites are still there for more detailed information and to see more of our images.

For more fun links and for a personal look into our lives be sure to like our Jason Angelini Photography Facebook page! There we share ideas for your wedding planning, updates about what we're up to, and more about our family.

Thanks again for visiting our blog and we hope you like the changes!

USF Engagement Session with Kelly and Brandon

Kelly and Brandon had their engagement session at the University of South Florida.  They both ran track and cross country for USF so met Jason at the track to start pictures there.  It is wonderful when couples make their engagement sessions meaningful to them and their relationship.  Jason is looking forward to spending St. Patrick’s Day with Kelly and Brandon celebrating their wedding!  2 months to go Kelly and Brandon!

Wedding at the Lange Farm: Andrea and Patrick

Andrea and Pat had their blue and white vintage wedding at the beautiful Lange Farm in Dade City.  The bride and groom did a wonderful job with the details creating a romantic, vintage, down-home feel to their day.  At the ceremony the “Here Comes the Bride” banner was a blue quilt on burlap with lace edging. Bridesmaids carried bouquets of baby’s breath while the groomsmen had boutonnieres made from a flower on an antique key.  The reception was decorated with vintage-themed centerpieces.  There were stacks of antique books tied with ribbon, owls, and small globes next to jars of daisies.  The dinner was catered by Hungry Harry’s Famous BBQ and the wedding cake was beautifully decorated with a ribbon on the middle tier.  For the guest book, guests wrote messages on paper with vintage icons and pinned them to an antique bulletin board.

The wedding details came together beautifully!  Congratulations to Andrea and Pat!  We wish them a lifetime of happiness.

Wedding at the Lake Mary Events Center: Lindsey and Ivan

Jason met up with Lindsey and Ivan two weeks before their wedding for an engagement session.  They were terrific and Jason was happy to be there for their wedding at the Lake Mary Events Center.  Lindsey had her hair and makeup done by Kristy of Kristy’s Artistry.  The wedding colors were black, white, and red.  Lindsey carried a beautiful bouquet or red roses on a base of fluffy white feathers.  The florist was Vintage Vines and there were lots of red roses for both the ceremony and the reception.  The centerpieces were red roses decorated with pearls.  Lindsey and Ivan had Reminisce Productions as the videographer for their day and Puff N Stuff was the caterer.

The ceremony was outside and took place at sunset.  Jason had a wonderful time sharing the day with Lindsey, Ivan, and their family and friends.  He had lots of fun with Casey and Nathan whose wedding Jason photographed almost 4 years ago!  But I think Jason’s favorite part of the wedding was the orange Lamborghini!

Congratulations Lindsey and Ivan, and we hope you had a terrific time in Costa Rica!

Sara and Brian’s Newborn Baby Girl

We are so happy for Sara and Brian!  Jason photographed their wedding two years ago and they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl just before the new year.  Seeing their daughter was a bittersweet reminder of how quickly that newborn phase is over.  Our 3 month old looked so huge next to their newborn!  I hope these pictures capture this precious time for Sara and Brian.  Congratulations on your adorable little girl!  We can’t wait until we get together again!

Wedding at Mixon’s in the Grove: Ashley and Sean

“True to me, kind to me, never deceiving; Cheering me, helping me, ever believing;

Sad for me, glad for me, never apart; Dear to me, near to me, Pal of my Heart.

Clean-hearted, true-hearted, all the way thru; Uplifting and tender, wonderful you!

Fair to me, square to me, life’s dearest party, -

Best to me, blest to me, Pal of my Heart.”

That is the poem that Ashley and Sean used at their wedding and gave to their guests on their personalized favors.  They were married at Mixon’s in the Grove which is a terrific location for a Florida wedding with its beautiful orange trees!  Jason always buys orange juice there but it never makes it home.

Oneco Florist did the flowers for the wedding which included the bride’s bouquet of white orchids.  At the reception the wedding cake was made by Matt and Dom’s.  The cake topper of a bride fishing for her groom was cute.  Jason thought it was even more fitting for the day because during the ceremony there was a bird in the background fishing as well!

Congratulations to Ashley and Sean!
