Wedding at St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Florida Aquarium: Melissa and Joe

Jason came home from Melissa and Joe’s wedding and could not stop talking about how much fun he had and how awesome the couple and their wedding party was!  They were up for anything and had lots of creative ideas for their pictures.  They gave Jason enough time before the ceremony to go to different places and they had a blast every where they went!

Jason started the morning with Melissa and her girls.  Melissa’s makeup was done by Marissa and her hair was done by Amanda of Trends Salon.  Jason will be photographing Amanda’s wedding in the spring.  It is going to be an amazing day as well!  Melissa then had an idea for some pictures as a surprise for Joe and went to Hooters for pictures and wings of course:).  After Hooters they took some pictures around Downtown Tampa before Jason left to meet up with the guys at a cigar bar.  They had fun with their pictures in Ybor and then everyone headed over to St. Paul Lutheran Church for the ceremony.

The reception was at the Florida Aquarium with a DJ from Expert Productions and a cake from Publix.  Melissa and Joe had a classic black and white theme for their wedding attire and the all-white bouquets and boutonnieres were from Heather of Beautiful Floral Designs.  The reception was lit by candle light and pretty purple and blue uplighting.  After dinner the dance floor was packed!  The fake mustaches were a big hit with all the guests.  You know the party is a memorable one when people are taking shots from pink flamingos.

Congratulations to Melissa and Joe!  Jason loved you two and he had a terrific time spending your wedding day with you and your wedding party!  We hope you keep the laughter from your wedding day going throughout your married life.

Wedding at the Lange Farm: Emily and Joshua

Emily and Josh were married at the Lange Farm in Dade City.  They had a beautiful autumn wedding with browns, oranges, reds, and yellows as the fall colors.  Irene of For Better for Less was the florist and at the reception the vendors were Amici’s Catering,  Laurie from A Piece of Cake, and Sean of Sword Sounds.

The couple had bride and groom pictures after their ceremony and then did a few more at the end of the night when the reception ended.  Jason likes having the time to get the bride and groom more variety to their pictures!  I think it is a wonderful thing when a couple makes their faith an important part of their wedding day.  Josh took a moment to stand with his groomsmen and pray before the ceremony.  We wish the couple many blessings in their life together as husband and wife.  Congratulations to a wonderful couple!

Wedding at Barrington Hill: Nicole and Nick

Nicole and Nick were married at Barrington Hill Farm in Dade City.  A farm is a beautiful place for a Florida fall wedding!  Ashly of Olivier Events helped to be sure the couple had an amazing wedding day.  Other vendors included Makeup by Ashley, Hungry Harry’s for the reception dinner, The Garden Cafe for a chocolate fountain with lots marshmallows, pretzels, strawberries, and other treats for dipping, a DJ from Breezin’ Entertainment and Productions, and gorgeous reception lighting by Tampa Lights.

The main wedding color was purple and it was used in the flowers, the wedding party attire, the favor boxes, the uplighting, and even the bride’s shoes.  There were hand-painted wooden signs pointing the way to the ceremony location and the reception.  It was the perfect detail for a farm wedding.  Nicole and Nick’s guests had a terrific time dancing and partying outside at the reception before the newlyweds left in a sparkler departure.  Congratulations Nicole and Nick!

Wedding at the Grand Plaza: Emily and Bob

Jason had a great time with Emily and Bob at their engagement session and he knew their wedding was going to be a terrific day.  They were married at the Grand Plaza Beachfront Resort.  Jason always loves photographing weddings there.  Jason also enjoyed working with Chad Whelan who was the videographer.  The wedding colors were yellow and blue with a pop of bright colors.  Emily had a beautiful bright yellow bouquet and the bridemaids’ bouquets were orange, pink, and purple with some yellow mixed in.  Flowers-by-Design was the florist for the wedding.  The officiant at the ceremony was Reverend Tom Greene and it was great to see Emily and Bob laughing and truly happy as they became husband and wife.  At the reception the wedding cake was the top of a tower of cupcakes made by Sweet! by Good Golly Miss HollyExpert Productions was the DJ for the reception.

Emily, Bob, and their friends and family were so much fun and made the day a true celebration!  Congratulations to the happy couple!

Wedding at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion and the Whitehall Room and Patio: Natalie and Phil

Natalie and Phil came from the U.K. to be married at Disney.  With the help of their Disney planner Meri, they had a truly amazing wedding day!  Every event during the day and every detail came together perfectly and made f0r a really special wedding.  We are so happy for Natalie and Phil!

Jason always enjoys working with David and Kristina of Trinity Wedding Video and they were there to share in the day as the couple’s videographer.  Natalie had her hair and makeup done by stylists from Beaute Speciale.  She looked gorgeous in her gown from Silk, the dress shop where she works.  After some pre-ceremony photos in the Grand Floridian, Natalie arrived at the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage.  The ceremony was held in the Disney’s Wedding Pavilion with Pastor Kirk Bane as the officiant.  The couple and their close friends and family then enjoyed a dinner reception held at the Grand Floridian’s Whitehall Room and Patio.  Mickey and Minnie joined the celebration and everyone had fun dancing to music by Disney’s Tropical Trio.  Jason said Mickey and Minnie didn’t talk and instead acted out everything they had to say.  Jason couldn’t help but laugh at himself as he kept catching himself miming back to them instead of just talking!  There was also a caricature artist and he was a big hit with everyone and the pictures made wonderful souvenirs for the guests.

When the dinner reception ended Jason did some bride and groom pictures with Natalie and Phil and then they joined their guests for a dessert party at Sago Cay Pointe.  The desserts looked so yummy!  The night ended with a Fireworks Cruise.  It was a beautiful and romantic way to end a wedding day.

Congratulations to the newlyweds on putting together a day that was a gorgeous as it was fun.  They are a terrific couple and Jason had a blast with them and their guests.  Thanks to Natalie and Phil and we hope your honeymoon cruise was awesome too!
