Wedding at the Don Vicente de Ybor: Jennifer and Noah

Jennifer and Noah put together a beautiful vintage style wedding!  Jennifer had her hair and makeup done at the Tribeca Salon and then finished getting ready at the wedding venue, the Don Vicente de Ybor.  Having the wedding at a historic inn was perfect for the wedding theme.  Leigh Ann of Dirt Garden Design was the wedding planner and also did the flowers for the wedding.  Jennifer’s bouquet was absolutely gorgeous!  It was made up of brooches, clocks, pins, and other unique and beautiful jeweled pieces.  She looked amazing with her Old Hollywood hair style, bird cage veil, pearls, and the jeweled bouquet.  Noah looked great too with his polka dot tie and blue suit.

Rev. Les Davis was the officiant for the ceremony.  The aisle was lined with flower petals, white floral arrangements, and candles.  The reception was held in the downstairs room with its tall booths and exposed brick wall.  Jennifer and Noah had candles on all the tables creating a romantic atmosphere.  The cake was made by Chef Chris from Let Them Eat Cake and had the same blue circles that were on the stationary and the tables.

The details for this wedding came together wonderfully and it was a terrific day.  Congratulations to Jennifer and Noah!  We are jealous of their honeymoon trip to ICELAND!!!  Hope it is fantastic!

Wedding at St. Paul’s Catholic Church and NOVA 535: Meghan and Jeff

Meghan and Jeff were married on the most popular wedding day for this year:  11-11-11!  They knew that such a fun wedding day would be in high demand so they booked with Jason over a year and a half before the big day!  Jason photographed their engagement session in the spring of 2009 when they were getting ready for their engagement party.  It was great for Jason to see that Meghan and Jeff used some of those pictures to display at their wedding reception!

Meghan started her day getting ready with her girls.  She had Meghann Davis there for makeup.  The ceremony was held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church and the reception was at NOVA 535.  Purple and black were the wedding colors so the reception room had black linens and purple uplighting.  The wedding party was in purple and carried white flower from the florist, Jonathan’s Flowers.  The food was from Puff ‘n Stuff Catering including passed desserts that looked so yummy!

As I was looking up 11-11-11 to try to find some statistics on how many couples were married that day I came across a news story about how lucky the day was for weddings.  According to a numerologist that was interviewed for the story, “each number has a trait and a “vibration” attached to it. So, you take the number by itself and then you also break down each two-digit number into a single digit. In this case, you add one plus one to get two and two in numerology equals love.  Then you take the month and the day and reduce those to single digits as well to get four.  ‘Two means love. You always want a two in your wedding day. And four is about couples and commitment.”  How perfect to have a wedding date that means love and commitment!  We hope Meghan and Jeff have lots of love and happiness in a long married life together.

Wedding at Disney’s Polynesian Resort: Deena and David

Deena and David came from Kentucky for their Disney wedding.  Jason shared the day with just the bride and groom, the officiant, and a violinist.  How romantic!  They had their first sight at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and took a few pictures there before their ceremony which was held on the Luau Beach at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.  After the ceremony Jason went with Deena and David to the Grand Floridian and they did more bride and groom pictures.  They were building a gigantic gingerbread house inside the resort and Jason said it must have been recently baked because it smelled amazing!

Deena and David, thank you so much for having Jason there with you as you began your married life together!  It was really special for him to be a part of it.  Congratulations newlyweds!

Wedding at the Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church and the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay: Kandy and Charles

Kandy and Charles were married at the Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church and they had their reception at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay.  Kandy got ready with a hair stylist and makeup artist from the Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group.  The flowers came from Jones Creations in PA.  At the reception the DJ was from Impulse Entertainment and the cake was made by Laurie  of A Piece of Cake.

The bride and groom had a first sight before the ceremony which made it easier to get all of their family pictures early in the day.  They had a fun time with their family and friends celebrating their marriage!  Kandy and Charles were headed to the mountains for their honeymoon.  We hope they had a terrific time and stayed warm up there!  Congratulations newlyweds!

Wedding at St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Florida Aquarium: Melissa and Joe

Jason came home from Melissa and Joe’s wedding and could not stop talking about how much fun he had and how awesome the couple and their wedding party was!  They were up for anything and had lots of creative ideas for their pictures.  They gave Jason enough time before the ceremony to go to different places and they had a blast every where they went!

Jason started the morning with Melissa and her girls.  Melissa’s makeup was done by Marissa and her hair was done by Amanda of Trends Salon.  Jason will be photographing Amanda’s wedding in the spring.  It is going to be an amazing day as well!  Melissa then had an idea for some pictures as a surprise for Joe and went to Hooters for pictures and wings of course:).  After Hooters they took some pictures around Downtown Tampa before Jason left to meet up with the guys at a cigar bar.  They had fun with their pictures in Ybor and then everyone headed over to St. Paul Lutheran Church for the ceremony.

The reception was at the Florida Aquarium with a DJ from Expert Productions and a cake from Publix.  Melissa and Joe had a classic black and white theme for their wedding attire and the all-white bouquets and boutonnieres were from Heather of Beautiful Floral Designs.  The reception was lit by candle light and pretty purple and blue uplighting.  After dinner the dance floor was packed!  The fake mustaches were a big hit with all the guests.  You know the party is a memorable one when people are taking shots from pink flamingos.

Congratulations to Melissa and Joe!  Jason loved you two and he had a terrific time spending your wedding day with you and your wedding party!  We hope you keep the laughter from your wedding day going throughout your married life.
