Wedding at the Grand Plaza: Lisa and Dan

Lisa, Dan, and their families came from the UK for their wedding at the fantastic Grand Plaza Beachfront Resort. Cari of KyleLynn Weddings was there for Lisa’s hair and makeup. She is a terrific person and always does a wonderful job! It was a windy day as the couple exchanged their vows on the beach with Rev Tom Greene as the officiant. The reception had a DJ from Expert Productions and a wedding cake by Cakes by Carolynn. We hope the newlyweds enjoyed the rest of their time at the beach for their honeymoon! Congratulations to Lisa and Dan!

Wedding at Church by the Sea and Tampa Bay Watch: Kristin and Simon

I love Kristin and Simon’s wedding! You can feel the emotion of their day when you look at their pictures.

Jason got together with them for and engagement session last summer. When they were all smiles and kisses early in the morning and in the heat of July, Jason knew they were a fun couple. Their wedding was at Church by the Sea and the reception followed at Tampa Bay Watch. Cassie of 2Birds Events was the couple’s wedding planner. Jason always enjoys working with Trinity Wedding Cinema who was there as the videographer. The florist was Heaven Scent Florist and the bride and groom had Jolley Trolley there for transportation to the ceremony and to the reception. At the reception, dinner was from Delectables Catering and Chantilly Cakes made the wedding cake. The DJ was Neal of SG Mobile DJ and guests had fun dancing and partying with boas, masks, and other props.

A special moment during the ceremony was when both moms came up to read a Bible verse. A ceremony is about joining two people as one, and two families coming together as well! Kristin and Simon are awesome people, and their family and friends are wonderful. Jason was able to catch up with Michelle and Michael whose wedding he photographed 6 months ago. It was a terrific day and we are incredibly happy for the newlyweds! Congratulations Kristin and Simon!

Wedding at Davis Islands Garden Club: Katrina and Matthew

Katrina and Matt had an awesome engagement session! Jason had a blast with all of their fun ideas and of course hanging out with the two of them! He knew their wedding day was going to be just as great. After Lili’s Weddings helped Katrina get ready for the big day, she headed to the University of Tampa for a First Sight with Matt. It was sweet seeing them together, excited for the day ahead. The wedding was at Davis Islands Garden Club. Katrina and Matt did not disappoint with all their amazing details. Wood plank signs, cornhole sets, twine and burlap, and lots of their engagement session images were some of the details that created a rustic yet romantic feel. The DJ was DJ by CJ and the wedding cake was made by Elise’s Pieces. Jason loved catching up with another couple whose wedding he photographed, and all of the guests had a great time laughing and celebrating a special day for a terrific couple. Congratulations Katrina and Matt!

Wedding at Disney’s Sea Breeze Point and Disney’s BoardWalk Resort

Kelly and Sean had their ceremony at Disney’s Sea Breeze Point and then celebrated their reception in the Marvin Gardens Ballroom of Disney’s BoardWalk Resort. The bride and groom came from Canada for the fun memories of a Disney wedding! Though it was a rainy day, everyone had a great time. At the reception guests were treated to Mickey ears made of chocolate with their seating assignments. There was a kids’ table with arts and crafts and all the guests had fun on the packed dance floor! Thanks to Kelly and Sean for having Jason there to capture your wedding story. We hope the Disney magic lasts throughout your marriage!

Wedding at the Don Vicente: Christine and Jeremy

Christine and Jeremy are such a kind, wonderful couple. Jason photographed their engagement session at the place where they were engaged which made it more meaningful. Some of those pictures were framed and displayed on their wedding day! They were married at the Don Vicente. The couple had Tammy of Special Moments Event Planning as the coordinator and Jason enjoyed working with her. Christine had her hair and makeup done by Darcy of Salon Belladonna. The beautiful floral arrangements were done by Dana Dineen Floral Design. The bride and groom had a First Sight before the ceremony and I cannot imagine happier smiles than theirs when they saw each other. It is in those moments that you know when two people are meant to be. After the ceremony, Christine and Jeremy went outside for more pictures before joining guests at the reception. The wedding cake by Sweetie’s Delights was beautiful, but guests seemed most impressed by the gator cake! Christine and Jeremy made sure to do the Gator Chomp when cutting it. Guest also had fun in the photo booth by Foto Box. The newlyweds left the wedding through a sparkler departure and headed the to beach to enjoy their first few days together as husband and wife. Congratulations Christine and Jeremy!
