Merry Times this Christmas Season

Every year we have a Christmas party and invite all of our past and present clients as a thanks for allowing us to be part of your lives.  Every year we have so much fun and this year was no exception!  Thanks so much to everyone who joined us.  We enjoyed a yummy holiday dinner from Catering by the Family.  There were Christmas crafts and activities for the kids.  Santa even came by and took pictures with everyone!  Before he left he read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas and lead a sing-a-long of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.  We had a terrific time and felt the Christmas spirit as we celebrated the season with everyone.  Merry Christmas!

The instructions on this tree say it can grow to be 40-80 feet tall!  We are going to try to plant it and see what happens:

We had elves helping the kids with coloring pages, letters to Santa, and other Christmas crafts such as picture frames and ornaments:

Every year the hot chocolate station is a huge hit!  We have whipped cream, marshmallows, and chocolate chips as toppings:

I didn’t do my Christmas baking yet but the desserts from the store were still yummy:

Balloon twisting and face painting!

Instead of reindeer and Christmas trees, the boys asked for lightsabers and swords:

Santa arrives!  The kids looked so amazed and excited:

Darth Maul meets Luke Skywalker:

As my friend Wendy said, nothing says Christmas like Darth Maul!

A pretty elf with her elf hat:

Yummy (and messy!) food:

The Darth Mauls and their lightsabers:

Pictures with Santa are always a blast!  Some kids are really happy to be with Santa, some are really NOT happy, and some could care less:)  Here are some smiles to start off with:

Just hanging with Santa:

And then the classic Santa crying pictures!  In this one, I love how she is checking him out and not liking what she sees:

Bet you can’t guess where her mom is standing:

1 out of 2 isn’t too bad!

Matching Santa hats:

More pictures with Santa:

Santa and Rudolph:

Santa isn’t just for kids!

Santa reading “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” to the kids:

When the story was done, this little girl walked up to Santa and asked him to read it to her again.  So sweet!

Thanks again to everyone who joined us, and Merry Christmas!

Leighann’s Back in the Dress Session at Fort Desoto

Jason always has a blast with Leighann and Trevor.  They like to laugh and have a good time and just be themselves which is a wonderful thing.  Jason has photographed their engagement session and wedding.  He met them at the beach for a Back in the Dress session at sunset.  It was a lot of splashy romantic silly fun!

Erin and Rick’s Session at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

While Erin and Rick were in town visiting Disney they met with Jason and took some pictures for their Christmas cards.  Erin and Rick are a laid back couple and Jason enjoyed meeting them and spending some time with them at their session.  They brought some cute props and had a fun afternoon at Disney’s BoardWall Inn.  Erin and Rick, thanks for making time to meet with Jason during your trip!

Miranda’s Back in the Dress Session at Fort Desoto

The day after their wedding, Miranda and Dan met up with Jason at Fort Desoto for a Back in the Dress session.  They had a great time splashing around in the water and enjoying a beautiful day at the beach.  Congratulations again to the newlyweds!  Thanks so much for having Jason there to capture these fun memories for you!

Megan and Sean in the Park

Since photographing Megan and Sean’s engagement session and wedding we’ve kept in touch with them and we are happy to have them as friends.  They are awesome people!  Sean is leaving training with the Army (any day now!) and before he left they wanted some pictures of the two of them together.  While they were here in Florida for Sean’s going away party they met up with Jason at the park for a session.  You can see from the pictures what a fun couple they are!  They were riding on dinosaurs, swinging on vines, climbing trees, and playing at the playground.  Sean, we wish you all the best in your new adventure!  Megan, we know it is going to be hard to be away from Sean but we hope these pictures bring a smile to your face when you are missing him.
