1 Year Portrait Session: Smashing the Cake with Emily and Louis’s Son

Emily and Louis recently celebrated their three year anniversary! Jason had a great time with them sharing in that awesome day and he was so happy for them when he found out they were expecting a baby! Jason photographed Emily’s maternity session and then met their son for his newborn session. It was great seeing their family again for a smash the cake session. Jason tried to make the session long enough for their older son to miss the rest of his school day. They are a terrific family and it is always wonderful catching up with them. We love being a part of their happy memories! Happy first birthday to Emily and Louis’s baby boy!

First Birthday Session with Meghan and Eric’s Daughter

We met Meghan and Eric when Jason photographed their wedding almost six years ago. What an amazing couple with kind and giving hearts. We’ve loved staying in touch with them through the years, and Jason has also photographed a session in NYC with them and then the blessed event of their daughter’s Baptism! They are incredible parents and their daughter is all of their hearts. They brought her over for a one year session and a cake smashing. What a wonderful milestone as she transitions from baby to toddler! She might not have been quite as excited about the milestone as her parents, but she is a precious little girl and it was great to be part of her birthday celebration. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for their family!

1 Year Cake Smashing Session with Beth and Will’s Son

Happy First Birthday to Beth and Will’s son! We have loved seeing him grow this past year. Jason photographed Beth and Will’s wedding four years ago and was excited to see them again when they brought their 3 day old son over for a newborn session. His 7 month session was especially sentimental. It was almost Christmas and Will was deployed so we know he treasured the pictures of his little boy. Beth brought her son back just a couple days before his first birthday for a cake smashing session. I love that he didn’t just smash with his hands but also used his feet to really smoosh up the cake! Beth, Will, and their son are an amazing family and we are proud to be part of their memories. Jason is excited to see them again for a family session when Will returns home! We hope the first birthday celebration was awesome!

Andrea and Eric’s Daughter Turns One!

Jason first photographed Andrea and Eric’s daughter when she was one month old. He got some cute pictures of her sticking her tongue out then. Andrea and Eric brought her back now at one year old and Jason thought it was cute that she was still sticking her tongue out! After some fun with bubbles and eating pretend paint for Easter pictures, she smashed her birthday cake. The best part was when she got up and tried to lift the entire cake to take with her. Happy First Birthday to Andrea and Eric’s little girl!

Sarah and Brian’s Daughter and Handfuls of Cake

Jason photographed Sarah and Brian’s engagement session (in the rain) and wedding and it was such great news to hear that they were expecting! It doesn’t seem like that long ago when they first brought their daughter over for her newborn session. I was able to meet her and hold her and she was absolutely precious. Jason has seen her grow and reach new milestones during her first year. He photographed her 3 month session, 6 month session, and 9 month session and saw her bright eyes and cute smiles each time. Sarah and Brian brought her over for her first birthday session with a cake to smash! She grabbed it by the handful. That’s the way to celebrate your birthday! We love that we were able to be part of her birthday memories, and many wonderful memories during her first year. Thanks so much to Sarah and Brian for all the fun through the years. You have a beautiful family and we know you’ll have many more amazing memories to look forward to in the future!
