Carly and Will’s Baby Girl

We are so happy for Carly and Will! They were recently blessed with a baby girl joining their family. They waited until the birth to find out if they were having a boy or a girl and dad commends them on their restraint! Dad had said he wanted to do that the first time mom was pregnant but he only lasted until the ultrasound tech asked him if he wanted to know and he broke down and asked. Carly and Will are filled with love and are already fantastic parents. We cannot wait to see them all again! Congratulations Carly and Will!

Baby Boy in the Blue Blanket

Kristen and Elton’s baby boy was born a month and a half after dad first met Kristen for her maternity session. It was wonderful to see them again and to meet the new baby! During Kristen’s maternity session, she brought a special blue blanket that she had t0 use for the baby when he was born. Mom loves when people incorporate things into their maternity sessions that they can then use in a newborn session. It makes the item that much more special when you save it and pass it on to your son or daughter. Congratulations to the growing family!

Already Growing

Dominique and Phillip first had dad photograph their baby girl for a newborn session when she was just under a week old. They brought her in for a studio session a month later and she already looked so much bigger! Babies grow so quickly so it makes these pictures mean so much more.

Baby Boom, Part Three

The last of the three newborn sessions dad photographed just before Christmas was with a baby girl who was just six days old. Dominique and Phillip had a maternity session with dad just one month ago and we were looking forward to hearing that their daughter had arrived. After she made her debut, dad went over to their house to meet the baby and photograph her newborn session. She was so precious and her parents are head over heels for her of course! Dad is looking forward to the next session and cannot wait to see Dominique and Phillip’s daughter grow!

Baby Boom, Part Two

January 4, 2010 – 12:30 am

The second of three newborn sessions that dad photographed the Monday before Christmas was with Jennifer and Shawn’s one week old son. Dad had photographed Jennifer and Shawn’s wedding 4 1/2 years ago (they had one of our favorite groom’s cakes) and was thrilled to see them again and hear their good news. It is a wonderful thing to have full circle moments like this, where dad gets to share in a wedding day and the family growing after. Jennifer and Shawn’s son was born just a couple days after Jennifer’s birthday. What a perfect birthday gift! Newborn babies are just so cute. Congratulations on your new blessing Jennifer and Shawn!

Jennifer and Shawn brought this hat and the picture makes mom laugh! It will be fun to see pictures of him with the hat on as he gets bigger, until it finally fits.

Baby Boom

The Monday before Christmas there was a baby boom for dad! He met three newborn babies in one day. They are only this tiny for such a short time and it is an honor for dad to capture these memories for families. Amber brought her new daughter over for a session early that morning. Mom could not believe how little the baby looked compared to our sister who is only a few months older! She was precious. Congratulations to the growing family!

Kristin and Dave’s 1 Year Anniversary Present

November 4, 2009 – 8:42 pm

Last October, dad photographed Kristin and Dave’s wedding on the beach. A week after they celebrated their one year anniversary, they received the best present ever! They welcomed a baby boy into their family. On Sunday they brought him over for his newborn session. Dad said the baby looked just like his dad. When mom saw the pictures, she could not believe that Kristin had a baby less than two weeks ago! She looks great! Congratulations Kristin and Dave, and thank you so much for having dad there to capture more of your special memories.

Khanh and Randy’s Baby Boy

Khanh and Randy’s baby boy has arrived! Dad photographed Khanh’s maternity session in August and was waiting for the call that the baby was born since then. On Friday Khanh and Randy brought their new son over for his newborn session. They were such a sweet new family. Congratulations Khanh and Randy and we can’t wait to see your son again in a few months!

Newborn Baby Girl

It is wonderful to see the look in new parents’ eyes when they look at their baby. It is a look filled with the future and a lifetime of love. Laura and her husband brought their new baby girl over on Friday for a session. They were such a sweet family. You know someone is a good dad when their baby uses their hand as a diaper and they still smile at her. Congratulations to the new parents!

One Week Old Baby Girl

We’ve been celebrating the arrival of our own baby girl, but on Thursday dad went to photograph a couple who just welcomed their own baby girl into their family. She was just one week old and had such cute expressions. Dad said she would throw her hands up in the air and stick her tongue out at him! Thanks for having dad there to meet your new baby!
