Wedding at the Grand Plaza: Ela and Dan

Ela and Dan came from Connecticut for their Florida beach wedding.  The Grand Plaza is an awesome venue for a beach wedding and Jason loves photographing there!  He also has a great time working with Cari of KyleLynn Weddings who was there the morning of the wedding for Ela’s hair and makeup.  Dan started off the morning a bit differently.  Jason met him and his groomsmen out on the beach for a game of volleyball!  I love their beach shop shirts, especially the tank that said, “Do you even lift?”  Perfect beach volleyball attire!

For the ceremony the guys changed into white shirts and khakis.  Dan wore khaki vest with an orange tie to match the khaki ribbon around Ela’s gown and her orange and white bouquet.  Northside Florist was the florist.  Even the officiant, Rev. Tom Greene, matched the color theme with his orange shirt!  The bright colors against the white and khaki were the perfect combination for a wedding on the beach.

The videographer was Caleb from Randall Productions and at the reception the DJ was Jeff Staples.  The wedding cake was beach themed and made by Cakes by Carolynn.  Other details also brought in the beach theme, including table assignments attached to starfish in a box of sand, a card box on a fishing net, and table numbers on top of a nautical knot.  Instead of a guest book, Ela and Dan asked their guests to write a message on a piece of paper, tie it with an orange ribbon, and then put it in a bottle.  What a terrific keepsake they’ll have from their wedding day!  As the night was ending, the newlyweds went outside for some fun with sparklers.  It was a beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple!  Congratulations to Ela and Dan!
