Wedding at Mixon’s in the Grove: Amanda and Early

When I think of Florida, I think of beaches and theme parks and oranges.  For a Florida style wedding that isn’t on the beach, an orange grove is the perfect choice!  Amanda and Early had their wedding at Mixon’s in the Grove.  The wedding coordinator was Debbie of Tiffany’s Two Party Planner, who also put together the flowers.  Light purple was the color for the wedding and the bouquets and reception centerpieces were made of purple and ivory roses.

Amanda had her hair and makeup done by Jenna from Artisan Hair Studio.  She wore a gown from the Allure Bridals Romance collection (Style 2569) which was beautiful with its lace appliques and Swarovski crystals.  The ruched waistband matched the waistband of the bridesmaids’ gowns.  The guys looked great as well, though the ring bearer showed up the groomsmen with his black cowboy hat!

The ceremony was held in front of a beautiful backdrop of palm trees, bushes, and other greenery.  Pastor Tim Passmore from Woodland Baptist was the officiant.  The reception was catered by C&W Barbeque.  The purple theme with lace and crystals carried into the reception decor, but my favorite part of the reception was the big wooden barrel filled with baby’s breath!  Jason had fun with the monster trucks on the groom’s cake for ring pictures too!

Congratulations to Amanda and Early on their wedding and marriage!  We hope the Caribbean honeymoon was a great time!
