Jason photographed Sarah and Brian’s wedding 5 years ago and he was so happy to see them again and meet their baby girl for her newborn session! Now she is 3 months old and such a beautiful baby. She has big bright eyes and looks so inquisitive! Thanks to Sarah and Brian for having Jason there to capture these memories. See you when your baby girl celebrates her 1/2 birthday!
Sara and Dani were married at the beautiful South Seas Island Resort in Captiva, FL. They came down from Michigan for their Florida beach wedding and the weather rewarded them with a bright blue sky, big fluffy white clouds, and later a spectacular sunset.
The Bedeken, or traditional Jewish Veiling Ceremony, happened on the dock facing the water. Just as in a first sight Sara and Dani were able to see each other for the first time before the ceremony and enjoy some special moments alone as a couple. After bride and groom, wedding party, and family pictures the couple signed their Ketubah and then headed out to the beach for the ceremony.
Though they did most of their pictures before the ceremony, Sara and Dani gave Jason time during their cocktail hour for pictures with extended family and for more wedding party and bride and groom pictures. After dinner, toasts, and dancing they once again joined Jason near the water for pictures at sunset. The sky changed for bright yellows and oranges to softer purples and pinks as Sara and Dani looked into each other’s eyes, smiled, and kissed. It is awesome when a couple gives Jason time throughout the day to get a variety of pictures! The newlyweds were able to have pictures with the clear blue sky and then pictures with the gorgeous sunset as a backdrop.
After sunset the bride and groom cut their cake and then spent the evening partying and celebrating with friends and family. It was a terrific wedding and Jason was glad he was able to be there to share in the day. Thanks so much to Sara and Dani!
Page and George told Jason that they would meet him for their session at whatever time he thought was best. I warned them to be careful giving Jason that kind of leeway! The had their session at the beach just after sunrise and not only got the beautiful, soft lighting but also enjoyed the nice weather before it got too hot. I don’t know how Page managed to look so gorgeous at 6:30 in the morning but she is going to be a stunning bride! Jason is looking forward to seeing her and George again as they celebrate their wedding next May.
Hanging out with Natalie and Vicente for their engagement session was a great time! They were so in love and lots of fun to be around. Jason was happy to see them again on their wedding day! They were married at St. Paul’s Catholic Church and had their reception at the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa. It is always wonderful to work with the ladies of Flawless Occasions and they helped to put together the details of the day.
Natalie was a beautiful bride! She had Michele Galletto there for her getting ready and her gown was Francesca by Sophia Tolli. The shoulder straps were so delicate and intricately beaded. Natalie looked amazing in it and she rocked some fun pink heels underneath! She carried an all white bouquet from The Bride’s Bouquet and her bridesmaids, dressed in a silvery gray, had bright pink flowers. The silver and pink theme carried into the reception with the linens, place settings, and a wedding cake made by Let Them Eat Cake. Sean of Sword Sounds was the DJ and Natalie and Vicente had a vintage Rolls Royce from Ambassador Limousine drive them around on their wedding day.
It is wonderful to see the love that Natalie and Vicente have for one another and how happy they make each other. Thanks to the newlyweds for letting us be a part of your love story! Congratulations Natalie and Vicente!
We loved seeing Emily and Mark’s precious daughter grow during her first year. Jason photographed her newborn session, 6 month session, and her smash the cake session at 1 year. Now she is a big sister! Her brother looks like a boy version of her only with much less hair. If he continues to take after her we are going to have a terrific 6 month session with lots of expressive faces and smiles!
