Wedding at the Sirata: Charity and Jason

We are so happy for Charity and Jason!  They are terrific people and we were excited to be part of their wedding day at the Sirata.  Their wedding colors were purple and green with flowers from Delma’s, the Flower Booth.  Charity’s bouquet had some feathers added in which was a pretty touch.  Charity started her day early in the morning with Lili’s Weddings for hair and makeup.  The ceremony was on the deck facing the beach and Rabbi Baseman was the officiant.  It was a beautiful Jewish ceremony made even more special by including the couple’s two boys.  At the reception there were linens from Connie Duglin and the wedding cake was from All About Sweets.

It was a fun and happy day for an awesome family.  Jason loved being there to share it with the couple and all of their guests.  Congratulations to the newlyweds and we hope to see your family again for biking or a play date!

Wedding at Davis Islands Garden Club: Amber and Dan

“Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow.  It’s what sunflowers do.” – Helen Keller

Amber and Dan had a beautiful wedding filled with big bright yellow sunflowers and deep blue accents.  They were married at Davis Islands Garden Club and had Alexis of 2Birds Events help put together all the wonderful details that made their day feel like it was held in the Italian countryside.  It was of course the sunflowers that made the day and Rose Garden Florist did a fantastic job with the arrangements and bouquets.  Jason was happy to see Rob Sword of Sword Sounds who was there to help officiate the wedding and as the DJ at the reception.  In the reception room the sunflower and blue theme continued.  Even the chandeliers were decorated with sunflowers and hanging blue glass bottles.  Each reception table had a potted floral arrangements with painted wine glasses and a bottle of wine in each.  The cork in the wine bottles held the table name of different cities in Italy.  Jason’s favorite part of the Italian details was the gelato that was served!  The wedding cake was from Betty Cakes and Amber and Dan used an adorable gator figurine as the cake topper.  The wedding guests had a great time dancing and celebrating.  There was even a game of beer pong on the patio!

Every detail came together perfectly for Amber and Dan’s wedding day.  Congratulations to the newlyweds!

One Whole Hand! Andrea and Eric’s Daughter Turns Five

I’m tearing up as I blog about this session!  Five years ago we met an absolutely amazing family.  Andrea and Eric brought their daughter over for a newborn session.  They also had an older son and at the time we had one boy and were expecting our second baby.  As the years went on both of our families grew and as Jason photographed Andrea and Eric’s kids they became close friends of ours.  It seems crazy that five years have gone by already!  We love Andrea and Eric’s family and I am so grateful for their friendship.  Their daughter has an adorable personality and she shows it in her expressions.  The blog about her 3 year session has pictures of her from her newborn, 1 year, and 2 year sessions as well, and her 4 year session has her same sweet and mischievous smiles.

Parenthood is an adventure and it has been terrific to have Andrea and Eric to laugh, worry, complain, brag, and share it with.  I know five years from now we’ll have so many more fun adventures to look back on!

Newborn Portrait Session: Amanda and Bill’s Baby Boy

There’s a new sheriff in town!  Jason photographed Amanda and Bill’s son when he was two weeks old.  He was such a great baby and his parents are so proud and in love with him.  Jason was happy to meet this wonderful family and freeze this special time for them.  It goes by so quickly!

Wedding at Disney’s Sea Breeze Point and Citricos at the Grand Floridian: Susan and Oscar

Susan and Oscar celebrated their wedding day with their family at Disney World!  Jason met them at Kidani Village in the Animal Kingdom Lodge for some getting ready pictures before heading to the ceremony.  Trinity Wedding Video was also there to capture the day.  Rev. Roberto Rojas was the officiant and married the couple at Sea Breeze Point.  It was a wonderful ceremony with hispanic traditions including the wedding arras coins and the beautiful double rosary lazo.  After some cake and dancing Jason went with Susan, Oscar, and their family for pictures around the BoardWalk Inn and then the Grand Floridian.  The wedding came to a close with a delicious dinner at Citricos.

Susan and Oscar, thank you so much for having Jason there to share the day with you and your family!  All the best to you in your future together!
